Petty Things That Get On Your Nerves...

God.

No doubt I'll get pelters but his attempts at humour are really lost on me.

Guess that's what I get for being agnostic.

I thought he was an Olaf Thom alias?

Clearly a Ron Burgundy alias.

First year (?) students at my university get on my nerves - there's a wee hackit blonde piece in front of my computer talking loudly about the last time she kissed a girl...I assume she thinks being Katy Perry-esque (with howling looks) is the way to go...it really isn't, you trollop

Is the portal down for any other Stirling Uni student? Fucking joke, waiting for my last remaining exam result

Down for me as well. They were doing work to it this weekend but it should have been back up by now.

I used to have a nightmare neighbour at a previous flat and it was a nightnare until one night my wife and i snapped and sorted it out once and for all

We got new neighbours about 6 months ago. Fairly quiet in general but I've had to go to the door twice.

I was really nice and so were they. Haven't had any bother since. They do bang doors quite a lot though - which is a tad annoying.

What a coincidence - I read the book last night and although I saw the ending coming it was so impactive I still have a strange feeling in my stomach thinking about it. :(

I read it the other week too. Would quite like to see the film adaptation, it will be sad though :(

In brief, I hate my work, I have zero motivation for it, and while France is lovely, I am incredibly homesick, and also hate my work.

I want to go home, quit my phd, and get a job. :(

Aye you'll come across like gold dust to an employer :lol::lol:

Why did you give up a free working holiday to one of the greatest cities in the world. I was homesick :lol::lol::lol::lol:

My God sense tells me that you once berated young scottish footballers for being unable to hack it abroad despite their obvious luck at landing a plum job in a great city.

Oooh the delicious irony.

Quit moaning and do something about it.

Lidl burnt down. Don't come back, it's not worth it.

:)

Do they have Lidl in Paris?

Do they have Lidl in Paris?

No just the Champs Elysse, Eiffel Tower, Louvre, Trocadero, Versailles, Opera, Sacre Coeur, Seine, Notre Dame et al.

Simply one of the four great cities of the world.

They do have Casino shops which more than adequately fill the Lidl gap.

Yes. Yes they do. Might make a trip next week just so I can say I've been to a Lidl in 3 countries! :D

And I love France, its a nice country, and I am enjoying it. However, I am not enjoying my work as much as I was, and I do miss home. This is unusual for me as I normally enjoy myself when I travel, but yes, I am homesick. :(

I see "god" hasn't taken long to fall back into familiar repetive paths. Maybe someone should phone his employer, let them know what their employee is up to?
