Sir Tarmo Kink
Fantastic shithousing by South Australia, making Victoria field until the draw after Handscombs greeting on day 3. Handscomb seemed to think he could bat until 600 on a road, and then expect South Australia to make a game of it. Had an absolute mare there.
Sir Tarmo Kink
Scotland play the first game of the ICC World Cup qualifier in Dubai on Friday. Against Singapore, who weren’t considered much, but have recently beaten Nepal and Zimbabwe (both of whom luckily aren’t involved) so they should certainly be a test. Scotland had two warm-up games, getting hammered by the UAE (although in their conditions at their ground) and then edging out Ireland.

Sir Tarmo Kink
Can it be watched live anywhere?Sky Sports Cricket are showing about 2 games a day live, although they seem to be mainly favouring showing Ireland. Scotland aren’t being shown live until their game against Bermuda a week tomorrow.

die hard doonhamer
Scotland struggling a bit against Singapore, currently needing 28 off the last 17 balls with 5 wickets left in pursuit of Singapore's 168/6. ETA: decent over there, 19 required from the last 2, Sole was run out so only 4 wickets left now. die hard doonhamer
Singapore win by 2 runs. That's a really disappointing start.

Azhar Ali ex-pro up at Huntly. Even came back to play for them when he fell out of favour in the test team I’m sure
Sir Tarmo Kink
Azhar Ali ex-pro up at Huntly. Even came back to play for them when he fell out of favour in the test team I’m sure Indeed. Quality player, I remember his 302 not out against the Windies a few years back. Babar was the ODI and T20I vice-captain and is an excellent player so not surprised he’s now the T20 captain. Not sure who is the ODI captain now but it’ll either be him or Imam-ul-Haq I’d suspect. Thought Asad Shafiq may have got the captaincy as he was VC but Azhar Ali is a good choice.
Sir Tarmo Kink
Also, Sarfaraz is a fat racist c**t so good enough for him.
Sir Tarmo Kink
South Africa had India down to 39/3, getting Pujara, Agarwal and Kohli early on but now they’re 224/3 with another Rohit century and Rahane on his way.
craigiemack
Recovered well to make 170 after a slightly slow start, should be enough to see off the Kenyans although they did give the Netherlands a slight scare yesterday. Talking of them, they only posted 140 against Namibia so maybe a slight opening for Namibia which if they took it would open the group back up for us.
die hard doonhamer
31 run victory. Decent way to bounce back.

Ireland just struggled their way to 125 all out against the UAE in the final match of the day.
