Lichtie78
Australian cricket awards night tonight. Picture of the winners. One has one and the other is one. Quite impressive that despite his awful ashes, Warner still finishes the year averaging 70 in all international formats. A marmite character certainly, but his record in Australia is absolutely phenomenal. Cummins may feel a bit aggrieved at not winning the AB Medal, but the voting format doesn’t really suit him IMO. Great seeing Labuschagne get Test player of the yea, seems a great bloke and will be a massive player for Aus in the coming years.

Bit of a stitch up that the cheat won by 1 point from the other cheat. Quite a few people over here not impressed with the result. Elysse Perry usually looks a lot better but guess standing beside a little turd doesn’t help.
Savage Henry
Foakes and Jennings recalled for the Sri Lanka series. Bairstow “rested” but I read it as dropped. No Anderson or Burns as they recover from injury.
jaggyness
So looking like sibley, Crawley, jennings, root, stokes, pope and foakes for a top 7? Actually don't mind the idea of Jennings at 3, he averages over 44 in Asia and that was as an opener. But, if it's about playing the long game and getting ready for an ashes series down under don't really see what he brings to the table
die hard doonhamer
I think Jennings is there as cover. Top 6 will be as it was at the end of the South Africa series, hopefully. Foakes in for Buttler, please.
Lichtie78
Matt Renshaw the latest Australian cricket to take a break from the game. Can’t be easy going from opening the batting for your country, to being dropped at state level within about 2 years. Still only 23, so plenty time for him to recharge and come back in a better place.
peasy23
England going well chasing SA's 178-8 in the first T20. Roy hit a 22 ball 50 to get them off to a flyer, he's still there on 60 with England 113-2 after 12 overs.

peasy23
They're making a bit of a c**t of it nowShould still get there, but lost all momentum with those 2 wickets.
Jupiter Jazz
Morgan throws his wicket away when he just had to knock it around. Why is Denly playing and not Malan?

Jupiter Jazz
Jeezo what a mess, Morgan and Curran trying to hit it out the country when ones and two's would've done.
peasy23
How you feeling now? Didn't see that coming at all. They got it down to nearly a run a ball then still tried to hit everything over the fence, when they could have got there with 1s and 2s.
Ro Sham Bo
Watched the last few overs and they didn't half make a mess of that. Morgan basically won the match with the three boundaries in a row and they still managed to hash it up.

peasy23
Looked like a no ball that got Morgan out, surprised it wasn't overturned by the third umpire.

I wasn't. The picture want conclusive, I think the back of his boot might have been half a millimetre behind the line. Certainly not enough evidence to make a no ball call, imo.
peasy23
SA won the toss and chose to bowl, and it's paid off with Buttler out for 2, England 18-1 after 3 overs.
