jaggyness
One thing I've noticed with England's spinners, Leach in particular, there isn't a lot of variation in their deliveries. Ali is a bit better at this but hasn't played any cricket for a long time. Anything around 100-120 would be a bit tricky for England although id still expect them to win, weather permitting.
peasy23
Very tight stumping call but I think it was right, I couldn't see anything of the batsman's foot behind the line either. Mickey Arthur is less than impressed. 9 down, lead of 66.Joss Buttler's first ever test match stumping.
die hard doonhamer
England need 74 to win, Jack Leach gets his 5 for.

peasy23
12-2, Crawley edging to slip. They couldn't f**k this up surely?
jaggyness
England doing well to make this as exciting as possible. Shows what's in the pitch for better spinners.
peasy23
Root run out, why the f**k are they trying to run quick singles when they have loads of time?

Jimi Shandrix
There's not much in sport that beats a good England batting collapse. They couldn't, could they?

peasy23
If England did fail to reach the target, it would be record breaking stuff as it would be the lowest target unsuccessfully chased in Test match history. It was interesting to see how quickly England fell into abject panic mode this morning.

I’d have thought it would be lower than that.
Lichtie78
Is it fair to say if Tim Paine wasn't the captain he probably wouldn't be in the Australian team? He is a very poor wicket keeper. He seems to have had a role reversal this series. Usually his good keeping is used as an excuse for his poor batting, but it’s been the opposite here. He probably cost Australia the third test with his 3 drops on the last day. Although even taking the captaincy out of the equation, there’s not really anyone banging the door down to replace him. Alex Carey is widely seen as his successor but he barely plays FC cricket due to white ball commitments, and I’m not sure if his keeping would hold up to the scrutiny of a test match.

peasy23
Aussies 4 down suddenly and out of nowhere we have a game on our hands. All out for 294 in the end, with Siraj getting 5 wickets. India need 328 to win, but we now have a rain delay.England get the win without too much drama this morning, Bairstow and Lawrence seeing them safely home. Been a good debut for Lawrence. Second match on Friday, expect Wood to drop out as he doesn't seem capable of playing 2 matches so close together without breaking.
peasy23
India make it to lunch with 1 wicket down and need 245 to win. All 4 outcomes still possible.
