die hard doonhamer
Tom Curran showing once again that he just isn't very good when it comes to T20 cricket. Defending 12 in the last over and offered up hittable pish, the last being a full toss that was pumped for 6. He must be the most overrated bowler about at the moment, no idea why he's anywhere near the England setup, or the IPL for that matter.
Eednud
Discovered being able to cast County games from ECB app to big screen last night. Enjoyable. In the Sheffield Shield Final at the Alan Border Field in Brisbane Marcus Labuschagne is on 160 no as Queensland finish the second day on 3/286 in reply to NSW 143.

Moomintroll
Saw an interesting stat today, since the Sheffield Shield was started in 1892, yesterday was the first time there was play in both it & the County Championship on the same day.

Jimi Shandrix
KKR chasing 222 to win. Were 30 odds for 5. Pat Cummins might just get them there. Just smashed a Sam Curran over for 30.
Jimi Shandrix
Nope. Cummins runs out of partners. 19 short. Decent effort though.
die hard doonhamer
A stunning effort from where they were at the end of the powerplay. DK 40 from 24, Dre Russ 54 from 22 and Cummins 66* from 34. 3 stunning innings. Special mention to Sam Curran, who after conceding that 30 runs in an over came back excellently in his last, only conceding 8 runs in the 19th.
Jimi Shandrix
6000 runs in the IPL for King Kohli. God, he's brilliant isn't he?
Jimi Shandrix
CSK walloped the previously undefeated RCB today with sexy b*****d Ravi Jadeja hitting 37 off the last over.
Moomintroll
Some knock there from Ambuti Rayudu, 72* off 27 balls. CSK 218-4 & with their bowling attack can't see MI getting close. No idea what is happening in Football, none whatsoever

jaggyness
England looking a bit thin on the ground with todays news that returning IPL players won't play in the first test. Those missing out include, Woakes, Ali, Curran, Bairstow and Buttler.

Ali sadly won't appear again, Curran meh, Bairstow a busted flush and Buttler omission gives Foakes a shot.
jaggyness
Archer now ruled out for the NZ series. Given the questions on Stokes bowling after a broken finger that means the bowlers unavailable for the first test are Curran, Woakes, Ali and Archer. Going to be tough for England with the number of tests this year. Can't imagine Anderson will play in every test.

He’s going to end up getting surgery on that elbow and be out for a very long tine.
jaggyness
He’s going to end up getting surgery on that elbow and be out for a very long tine. It may be in their best interests to do it now and ensure he's fit for the ashes series
die hard doonhamer
He should bin red ball cricket, imo. And it would be a good thing for England if he did, given that he seems incapable of finding the pace that is the sole reason for his selection in a white shirt.
