craigkillie
England are definitely going to do it now. Australia 244-9, still needing 57 from 6 overs. Or not. Unbelievable hitting from Faulkner.
craigkillie
He must have had a strike rate of about 400 over those last few overs.

Swarley
How demoralising will that be for England? They actually played well, were on the verge of victory but couldn't win.

Bearwithme
Finch goes from 121 to a duck! This is still game on. Who's this Eoin Morgan bloke that got 106? He sounds Welsh! He's Irish - or were you joking? Some good signs in this game for England but they couldn't finish it off. Bottom line is they end up losers yet again.

peasy23
So Finn is "unselectable", but Bresnan who offers very little at the moment with the ball in hand appears to be undroppable? Some brilliant catches today, Jordan's c&b was superb as was Ballance's nonchalant one handed catch.
booitsme7
I thought England were going to win but it wasn't to be and I can now see them losing this ODI series 5-0 after the way they lost this game. James Faulkner celebrating the win after finishing on 69 not out to put Australia 2-0 up.

FuzzyBear
Another abject performance by England. Surely they have to be far more agressive with bat and ball.

Ro Sham Bo
Why does Pietersen not play in these one day matches? Just seen him in the crowd at Stamford Bridge.
BucksburnDandy
Just got tickets for the Scotland v England ODI at Mannofield in May. Looking forward to it even if we're likely to get a hiding by a distinctly average England team. Think we might struggle in the Super Six stage if we beat Canada, and as such could struggle to qualify for the 2015 World Cup. Struggling to make progress unfortunately

Bearwithme
George Bailey out of the Australian squad for South African tour but Shaun Marsh in. Marsh is a controversial selection. Flopped in Tests before, doesn't have a great first-class record, has had problems with the bevvy, not a youngster any more (he's 30). I wonder how much of a part a couple of good ODI knocks against a poor England side played?
