Swarley
Moeen a doubt for Lord's. Rashid I guess would replace him.Potentially great news for Australia. As someone mentioned earlier, Haddin's daughter is ill.

kerrdavidson95
I would've thought Oman beating Afghanistan would put Scotland in with a right chance now. No more errors though.
The_Kincardine
I always assumed it was Fortress Lord's. This graph shows otherwise. The next few days will be as about exciting as cricket can get.

This graph shows otherwise. engurland.JPG The next few days will be as about exciting as cricket can get. Always been a happy hunting ground for Australia. Interestingly though the last two Ashes tests at Lord's England have actually won. Pretty sure 2009 was the first Ashes test win at Lord's for England since before the Second World War.
die hard doonhamer
The last 20 ashes tests at Lords are 9 Aus wins, 9 draws and 2 England wins. England have won the last 2.
jmothecat
Glenn McGrath took 26 wickets in his three tests at Lord's.
mjw
Did Lords not used to be the traditional 1st Test venue?
Lex
Aus could really do with a good opening partnership from Warner and Rogers here, take a bit of pressure off their middle order. Opening the batting is definitely an advantage in these circumstances so fancy Aus to level the series. They're currently 23-0 after 5 overs. Lords is always a good wicket, so should be another great test match.
Fuctifano
Did Lords not used to be the traditional 1st Test venue? I always associated it with being the 2nd of a 5 match series and the Oval the 5th- in recent years with 2 match series it's quite often the first of them. Though in the 2005 Ashes it was first.
Fuctifano
Aussies off to a decent start... but in the main event, Scotland need 136 to beat bottom of the group Canada after letting them squirm away from 98/8 with 2 overs to go. Lose this and we're probably toast.
Swarley
Fuckin hell Warner, calm down. I'm no voice of cricket but his temperament seems to be better suited for Twenty20 or One Dayers.
Fuctifano
Racist Dave out attacking the Asian guy in the team, no surprise there.
Antiochas III
Excellent from Scotland's batsmen. Winning by 8 wickets. Should have been a lot easier though. Munsey's knock for 33 of 12. Death bowling has to be a lot better though Edited July 16, 2015 by Antiochas III
The_Kincardine
so 97-1 so far with lunch pending. Not a bad first session for The Aussies?
Fuctifano
Win against Oman in the last game and we're definitely through as Kenya and Netherlands still have to play each other. Lose and we're almost certainly out. A washout would mean we're hoping for a Dutch win in that game.
trainspotter
27 overs in the morning, 6 of them from the spinner, is a pretty poor show. Edited for weird font sizing. Edited July 16, 2015 by trainspotter
kerrdavidson95
Sadly England still showing how negative they can be. They need to have the quickies pitching it up. Anderson had the ball swinging an absolute mile this morning. More of that please.

Poor show for the fans who are paying good money to sit and watch nothing happening.
