jaggyness
Need to go at least 10 an over in the final 5 to get close to 300 which would be a par score

Jmothecat2
England seem utterly unable to play sensibly. They look great on flat pitches but anything that requires a bit of control and they seem to capitulate.
peasy23
England gonna England. I know Morgan has said "this is the way we play", but you probably aren't going to win the world cup just playing like that. Top notch opening spell from the Aussie bowlers tbf, but an unnecessary shot from Morgan to get out. Yes, they need to score, but that was the time to be digging in for at least a few overs.
peasy23
And Bairstow goes too, top edging one out to the boundary. 53-4. A lot resting on Buttler and Stokes now.

Second match in a row that has required something other than the 'England way' and it's going to cost them again.

dorlomin
England might get enough to avoid the follow on here.
peasy23
Australia lose their review, then Buttler nearly gets run out next ball.
peasy23
England 109-4 at halfway, need 177 from 150 balls. If these two can stay in for most of the remaining 25 overs then they have a decent chance. Stokes limping a bit, looks like a hamstring problem. Edit: It's a calf problem, getting a massage on it now.
peasy23
Brilliant running catch by Khawaja on the boundary puts an end to Buttler's innings. Could be a repeat of the Sri Lanka game with Stokes running out of help. Woakes has cone in before Moeen as they know Lyon has his number.
Jmothecat2
Stokes is doing what a few of the others needed to. Started off somewhat slowly to ease himself into his innings and is now hitting bigger shots. This is what Morgan should have done. And he's out.
Benjamin_Nevis
A confidence-bereft Moeen gone now as well. I'm quite pleased the hubris of some of Sky's commentary team is about to be firmly slapped into place by the Aussies tbqh. It's a pity Warner is such a dick. Some excellent shots of miserable fans as well[emoji1]
Fuctifano
England's 7-10 are worth about 125 runs if they're 275-5 and about 25 if they're struggling. Pakistan beat NZ tomorrow and Afghanistan on Saturday and England are under mega pressure going into the India game on Sunday.
