peasy23
India chase down 265 with 39 balls to spare and 7 wickets in hand. Now all down to Australia's run chase against SA to confirm the semi final line up.
Guest Bob Mahelp
Gonna be an England v Australia semi-final.
peasy23
Australia 33-2 with Khawaja also off retired hurt with what looked like a torn hamstring. Won't make any difference today by the look of it but he'll be a big miss in the semi.
Sir Tarmo Kink
Looking like India might get that top spot which really suits them
Lichtie78
Very very pleasing result at Forthill today with Arbroath beating Forfarshire by 1 run. Forfs first defeat in the league
peasy23
No doubting that Warner is a c**t, but he is a superb batsman, keeping Australia's hopes of finishing top alive.
peasy23
Warner out for 122, a brilliant catch to see him off.

Hope that Archer & Wood have a better gameplan next time round if the Saffers finish this, looks like Handscomb might end up playing in the Semi with the latest injury.
peasy23
Australia take 17 from the 48th over, need 25 from 12 balls now with Khawaja back in.
peasy23
And Khawaja plays on, 25 from 11 with 2 wickets left.
peasy23
Superb ball from Rabada gets Starc, that should be it with 20 needed from 7 balls with Lyon and Behrendorff left.
peasy23
Australia come up 11 runs short, decent effort after the start they made. Can't see anything other than an India win against New Zealand, but England v Australia could all depend on who wins the toss.
Sir Tarmo Kink
Huge advantage for India going into the final with the extra rest. They’ll have 5 days compared to Eng/Aus’ 3 days.

Agreed England seem well suited to playing India. It all depends on how well the opening pair play Starc.

Personally, I prefer it the way it is. Going to have to beat both of them to win the trophy anyway, and I feel that having Australia away from Lords is preferable.
Sir Tarmo Kink
Feels weird that Bangladesh came 8th after being close to qualifying
Guest Moomintroll
Khawaja & Stoinis look to be out of the tournament with Wade & Marsh (M) being called in to replace them. Quite bizarre that the Aussies batsman & batting all rounders are dropping like flies while their erstwhile injury prone fast bowlers sail serenely on. Getting Wade in might actually do them a favouur as he is in very good form.

Sir Tarmo Kink
Stoinis is okay he’ll definitely be a loss. Khawaja has been dreadful so won’t make much difference. I wonder if Smith will finally bat at 3.
