Wee-Bey
**Fantasy Golf Transfer Window** The transfer window is now open and will close at start of play at Augusta. Changes will come into effect at the Masters. The next window is after the Open Championship in July, so this will be your team for the 4 double point majors and the x1.5 Scottish Open, so choose wisely. You can make as many changes as you wish to, following the original template of 1 from each pool and 1 from each of the tour lists, plus another 4 from the tour lists. Either tag me in your post, or send a DM with your changes. A reminder of everyone's teams and their individual points totals gained so far. @Henderson to deliver ..... As I mentioned earlier my cousin plays off plus 3, was runner up in the Scottish Boys Championship a few years ago when I went up to watch him at Monifeith, it was like watching the pros. If I remember rightly the 18th at Monifeith is a long Par 5, the boy he was playing took a driver off the deck for his second shot and stuck it in the greenside bunker, then chipped in out the bunker for an eagle and to win the match Im the highest handicap in our group of 4, but as well as marking our own cards we play fourballs for a fiver a hole. I seem to play better in that format when I’m with a partner, and love the competitive side of it. It really is some game, choking for the country to open up and get playing properly. It’s brilliant playing with someone who’s just sensational at golf*. One of my mates is +2 and it’s wild some of the stuff he pulls off. Last time The Open was at St Andrews he played a competition on the Old Course on the Monday with the same layout and shot 1 under. It’s crazy that someone that good though is still so far off being able to go pro. *also hilarious how raging they get with shots that I would consider to be some of my best ever

He was off +1 at Troon when he turned pro, and considered his level at his best as being the equivalent of a big standard League 1 football team. He reckoned he was closer to the level of a mid handicapper than he was to a regular tour pro.

The boy I was talking about who has been +2 for a while, used to get asked all the time why he didn’t turn pro and he was quite open in saying he was miles off them and would finish around the bottom of every tournament he entered so would be penniless.

He's a decent driver of the ball, straight but not especially long, but his irons and short game are deadly. If he does miss a green then I've very rarely seen him not get up and down. Love playing with him.The head pro from Strathaven joined Bishopbriggs last year and I was partnered with him for his first round. He hit it for fucking miles off the tee, I've played with a couple of the biggest hitters among the members, but he was easily 15-20 yards longer than any of them.

He says it's not the ability that's the difference, as all these guys are capable of shooting low scores. It's being able to produce that 3 or 4 rounds a week, just about every week, that makes all the difference.

Distant Doonhamer
Phil Mickelson makes a great putt for a 10 (ten) on the par 5 18th. Commentators reckoned it was a 9 but PGA leaderboard has it a a 10. Decent level par 72 for Laird to currently sit tied 39th. Two over 74 for Knox to be tied 84th. One over is currently T57 so a decent round tomorrow and he can still make the cut. Edited April 1, 2021 by Distant Doonhamer

Bugger, put it off just as they went on to 17. Shot tracker certainly has it as 10, shots 5, 6 and 7 are particularly interesting. Did well to get up and down for his 10 in the end.
