The Swing 5 is based on points earned in Mexico and the Cognizant next weekend.

That would be a decent first round and a good platform to make the cut and advance through the field.
funky_nomad
I see Conor Syme is once again in a decent position near the top of the leaderboard, this week in South Africa. No coverage on Sky Sports, which is puzzling given that it's a designated DP World Tour event, it's part of the "International Swing", and they're covering next week's event which has the same prize fund and the same amount of Race To Dubai points available.

I was wondering why there was nae DP World Tour on TV today and Sky were showing re runs instead. Bizarre stuff. In LIV news, the hype surrounding 38 year old Anthony Kims return to golf is quite something. He’s currently dead last on +4 thru 9 with a big dirty shank thrown in there for good measure.

doulikefish
Kim finishes dead last at +6 not bad since it's his first competitive round since his insurance payout time ran out

doulikefish
Laird in at -5 and Bob at -4 playing the 11th ,much harder scoring day looks a bit windy
doulikefish
Laird in -5 Bob bogeys the last and at -2 both in for the weekend as the cut predicted at -2 but likely to go to -1 as pretty windy and a hard day for scoring Honorary Scotsman Victor Peh..rez leads at -10

Bob holed a 5 foot putt for bogey at the last to make the cut on that number.
Ro Sham Bo
'You don't usually see that! Detry's five-putt shocker from six feet' https://www.skysports.com/share/13084946 Also noticed that Full Swing is back next week.
funky_nomad
Just noticed that the leader after the first round on this week's DP tour somehow managed to miss the cut, following up a 65 with an 81. Some card...
