ChrisMFCfan1886
Can we start a petition to give Lord Douglas of Fife a knighthood for that winning try?
ddfg
Glasgow have posted a FB update saying Finn Russell is still in hospital in Galway, no mention of his injury or when he is likely to be getting home, sounds like he's got a sore one.
peasy23
Take it he had a concussion of some sort, Zander Fagerson also tweeted that his head is a bit sore but he is fine. From the FB page: FINN RUSSELL UPDATE: Finn remains under observation in hospital but is awake and with his family. We'd like to thank the Connacht medical team, the ambulance staff at the ground and everyone at University Hospital Galway for all their help. Finn would like to thank everyone for their kind messages over the last 24 hours. We'll provide further information when we get it.

Thought connacht fans showed a bit of class with the way they applauded him off.
Jim McLean's Ghost
If anybody missed the Sevens final, full game is here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YFeFPC4ub_k Well worth it to watch the full match, some really class tries from Scotland, a driving maul and a winger carrying two men over the line
Mark Connolly
Didn't notice at the time (due to my own screaming no doubt), but you can hear Scott Hastings going mental in the background at Fife's winning try!

John Lambies Doos
It's a shambles that decent resources are wasted on the incompetent sevens side. Bump
invergowrie arab
It's good that they won. Still think sevens is a pile of shite though.
dogmc
Watched it again......just reaching the final on previous form was a huge shock....to beat that saffer team would have been amazing but to do it with 26 seconds left needing two tries was just ranieritastic. Fair play to players n coaches for massively raising the bar. Especially glad to see Dougie fife get some recognition....vern cotter doesn't seem to like him much but he's done some fine work for Scotland n embra in last 3 yrs....albeit he looks like a ginger Ian poulter...
honestly united
The 7's team have improved immensely as the season has gone on, and its just a pity its finishing now. To think that it was the England team that gained qualification to the Olympics, we are now (well the last few tournaments anyway) by far the better team. Its just a pity the Olympic squad was selected so early or there would have been a few more Scots in it. It was an excellent performance from Scotland, just hope we can keep up that standard going into next season

ajwffc
Russell is still under observation in hospital but does not require surgery and will miss the summer tour of Japan. A replacement will be called up before the team leave
ddfg
Warriors season tickets to remain the same price for next season but still no update from them about what's happening about the pitch.
CK
Edinburgh born Stormers centre Huw Jones called into Scotland squad for Japan tour. Interesting to see how this one goes, he seems to be highly rated and also eligible for Wales, England and South Africa but good to get him tied down. It also produced a highly amusing tear stained rant from Andy Nicol. Absolute throbber.

Noticed he is a director of a very wanky sounding business consultancy, why am I not surprised!

peasy23
Saracens lead Exeter 23-6 at half time in the Premiership final, Chiefs kicking far too much possession away. Scotland centre Duncan Taylor scored a good try.
