Mark Connolly
Uruguay are playing really well here. For once, insomnia has worked in my favour.

Mark Connolly
I really want Fiji to pap Wales out, but Uruguay deserve no less than a win here.
ajwffc
Uruguay have done well
Mark Connolly
It would be easy to say Fiji have been pish, which they have, but they have been forced into it by the fact that the Uruguayans' defence has been brilliantly organised, and they have made almost every tackle. Absolutely sensational from Uruguay.
SlipperyP
Fijis kicks were school boy shite. \well played Uruguay, thoroughly deserved.
peasy23
Fiji almost certainly going home early after that result.
Donathan
Fiji might well finish bottom of the group. The Pacific island teams have gone seriously backwards and yet the IRB will still gerrymander qualifying to get them all into the next WC [emoji849]
Savage Henry
At the risk of sounding a bit Radio 5 Live Reactionary Caller, the Scottish team should be made to watch the interview with the Uruguay captain after the game. Or at least Townsend should. Scotland had even longer to prepare for that Ireland game, and yet they didn’t show up.
Swarley
Fuxake Fiji. That result will be treated like a death in the family across the entire country.
ajwffc
Fuxake Fiji. That result will be treated like a death in the family across the entire country. It is with calls for the manager to be sacked
ajwffc
Reece Hodge has been found guilty of a dangerous tackle charge and will serve a three-game suspension at the World Cup
ajwffc
also Samoa centre Rey Lee-Lo and hooker Motu Matu’u have been cited for acts of foul play contrary to Law 9.13 (dangerous high tackle) in Samoa’s Rugby World Cup 2019 match against Russia on 24 September. The players will attend hearings before an independent Judicial Committee chaired by Wang Shao Ing (Singapore lawyer and former international player), joined by former international players John Langford (Australia) and Olly Kohn (Wales). The hearings will take place in Tokyo on the same date to be agreed with the players and their representatives. Samoa winger Ed Fidow has received a Citing Commissioner Warning for an act of foul play contrary to Law 9.12 (punching or striking) in the same match. This remains on his disciplinary record in the event that he accumulates any combination of three warnings or yellow cards during the tournament.
Gianfranco
Just catching up with the highlights. Fiji’s defending for Uruguay’s first try was Scotlandesq. Nice to see it’s not just us missing shitty tackles.
Mark Connolly
Woodward making a complete fool of himself over the Hodge incident.
Mark Connolly
Always tough to pick who to support in games where Scotland aren't involved. Today, in deference to Dundee United's owner, I will cheer on USA.
hearthammer
Anyone else done the predictor for the tournament ?? I'm having my expected mare. After 11 games, i've amassed a paltry 74 pts out of a possible 350ish available. Still, it's a wee bit of fun that doesn't require throwing money at the bookies.
