Japan were miles offside for the whole game and Barnes had no intention of reffing it so they had to take him out the game. SA's yellow I would have thought was worth a look to confirm that he hadn't landed on his head, and the one where the Japanese player took out the Saffer in the air looked at least a yellow. When I played Yooni rugby in the early 80s, and London was a 'white flight' city for Saffers and Rhodesians, even the blokes from Zimbabwe detested the 'ropes'.
