Bully Wee Villa
Fair play to England. New Zealand have been poor but a lot of that is to do with how well England have tackled.
DeeTillEhDeh
Tactical ineptness by Hansen. The kicking and narrow side strategy has been an utter failure this game.

I can't see England not winning the final now. The final will be a kind of direct opposite from today, with England as huge favourites against a good Wales/SA team. It may not suit England to go into the final with everyone assuring them that they've won it.
DeeTillEhDeh
Its going to be 4 long years of whining for the Kiwis. They do not take losing these matches well. Some of them still bitch about South Africa 95. Assuming they beat Wales. The Saffers will just grind England into submission.
Bully Wee Villa
"You can never write this New Zealand side off". f**k off, Namibia would win it from here!

Mastermind
That is some win, not just the result but the manner of the win. -

Detournement
England have been awesome. The entire pack and Ford have been absolutely brilliant. I was obviously hoping that NZ would win but Hansen is a Garland level w**k so seeing him go out on a horrific defeat is pleasing. Moving Beaudan Barrett from 10 has been an absolute Titanic level disaster.
DeeTillEhDeh
Its not an extraordinary result.New Zealand have been weaker this year - lost to Australia, drew against South Africa, only narrowly beat the Pumas - this isn't a great AB team.
GAD
Curry, Underhill and then Wilson were absolutely brilliant there. Itoje as well. I'm actually delighted for England there, they are a good team and I like most of their players. I'll still probably support South Africa in the final if they get there though....

They're head and shoulders above this year's AB's.

peasy23
"One of the biggest upsets in World Cup history." [emoji23] What?! It's the best team in the world against the second best, and you could have a long debate about which is which.Exactly this. The English media aren't usually slow to overhype their international teams, but somehow this week they have been portrayed as the hopeless plucky underdog.

Comrie
England put in a professional performance where they played to their strengths and beat a good, but not truly great AB team. NZ in the past have had guys they would go to when they desperately needed something- Richie McCaw, Zinzan Brooke, etc but there is nobody at that level in their squad right now. Whoever wins the SA/Wales game will absolutely try and shitefest the final and scrap to a 9-6 win.
