John Lambies Doos
Oh well it's an afternoon in the pub rather than the principality stadium, probably more chance of picking up Corona in the pub than the stadiumTry and make the most of your weekend buddy

That redefines that phrase 'utter fucking stupidity'. It should have been done at the beginning of the week. Disgusting. Completely down to the WRU, that one.

Cardiff is heaving already, pub I'm in us rammed, probably more chance of catching something in here than at the game Mate, just get laid. I was at the airport when the game got cancelled (with my dad) so we just turned back, but from my experience, just being Scottish down there should be fine.
Snobot
U-20s just delivered a severe pumping to the Welsh U-20s. On S4C on iPlayer. Probably the last game of rugby you will see for quite some time and some cracking tries. Seemed to be quite a vocal crowd for behind closed doors right enough.

They only called it off because of public criticism, nothing to do with epidemiological advice. The UK CMO specifically said you've more chance of catching it in a pub than in a sports ground, but nobody is clamouring for pubs to be shut.I suppose they thought they could hold to the expert advice but in the end folded in the face of the mob.
stanton
With the travel restrictions now put in place in New Zealand, I can't see how the super rugby series can continue in its current format . I heard that the NRL are talking about basing the NZ Warriors in Australia until this situation is sorted out

honestly united
If I'd stayed at home I could have had a game this afternoon as club rugby in England is still going ahead today, games only being cancelled if someone has any symptoms
peasy23
Sharks v Stormers on Sky just now, Stormers should have had a red card straight from the kick off for taking out a man in the air, but even with the TMO pretty much imploring him to give a red, the ref settled for yellow.

If it's had been later in the match I think he definitely would have been shown a red card , personally I was expecting a red card . To me it doesn't really make any difference a red card offence is a red cardboard no matter what stage of the game it is .

Definite red for me, I know he landed on his back and that was what the ref cited as mitigation for giving a yellow, but that was purely down to luck, it was a very dangerous tackle as the TMO was trying to persuade him.

Here is the yellow card challenge for anybody that missed it earlier, I don't see anything except a red for that tbh. He might land back first, but his head whacks off the ground too.
