Wee-Bey
Haha yes. Warrenball 2.0 baby. Some 2nd half performance by the old warriors Lawes and Wyn Jones.
Gianfranco
I only caught the last 20. It wasn’t pretty but a win is a win.
Left Back
Deserved it on the end. Second half a much better game of rugby. Very little involvement from the backs on either side was disappointing.
GAD
That was brilliant. Ref was a c**t in the first half, we were mullering them in the scrum and that was shown by the fact they changed the entire front row at half time, but second half was excellent and we took him out of it. DVM owed big apologies, because he was fantastic. Lawes as well, another guy getting pelters before the game. Price superb.
John Lambies Doos
Not the prettiest game but man it was brutal. From a Scottish perspective that is money in the bank for these players come 6 nations. I'd rate them in this order.PriceDVMHoggSutherland. Oh and Watson lucky....
Mark Connolly
Thought the Scottish boys were all decent, Sutherland was solid in general, with some inconsistency in the reffing of the scrum. He got pinged for a couple that were obviously not him but got away with one too. Mish was lucky with the tip tackle, but was good ball in hand and an absolute nuisance in defence. Duhan was solid without really being given a chance to get going, Hoggy did what he needed to do, and Ali Price was, for me, outstanding. Wouldn't be surprised to see the same team next week if everyone is fit tbh, with the exception of Mish for Curry.

Mark Connolly
Any time I see Maro Itoje interviewed, I find him very impressive. It's a shame I find him such a fucking c**t on the pitch, although obviously today, he was our c**t. 2 minutes ago, Left Back said: Curry can’t start again surely
Wee-Bey
The domination up front in the 2nd half was a pleasant surprise.

Stop the clock until the kicker starts his run-up Still boring for the fans in the stadium though (when such things are permitted), it harms the atmosphere. I'd prefer a shot-clock of some type.

FWIW I think that since he has stopped the obvious wind up stuff and just got on with his job, I've really warmed to him. Clear MOTM today but I reserve the right to boo him and call out all his illegal actions when he plays for Sarries again -

Its a test match, the W is more important than entertaining the plebs (still pissed off as I should be in Cape Town tonight looking forward to Port Elizabeth and the 2nd Test)

Far too much match-time is taken up with kicks at goal. Today it was around 10% of the whole game.

Even though I was seething at the time, his ‘celebration’ alongside the Glasgow team who hadn’t realised a try had been disallowed was the most magnificent piece of trolling ever. Always been a favourite of mine since. c**t. Good c**t, though, IMO.

DeeTillEhDeh
Thought Lawes had been outstanding today. Never impressed with England but great today Lawes or Itoje MoM for me.

peasy23
Ultimately a win for the Lions, but very fine margins could have changed the outcome.I thought that when they decided the pass wasn't forward then Le Roux's try had to stand, I didn't think he was clearly in front of the kicker, certainly not by enough for the TMO to overturn the decision.Having not given away a penalty in living memory, Watson was very lucky not to get a yellow, very surprised that it wasn't given closer scrutiny by the TMO.On the flip side, the Saffers should have been warned after racking up a load of penalties early in the second half, think it was 6 or 7 in a row.Thought all the Scots acquitted themselves well, Daly was a gamble at centre that didn't really work for me. Hope Harris gets the nod next week. You can add me to the list of new admirers of Lawes, thought he was superb yesterday.

Not much in it, of course. I wouldn't drop Curry based on one match, I think he has enough quality to come back and be at his best. Curry is also more flexible. But he has to nail it, and early, or he could struggle to make the bench for the third test. Not sure Conan did enough. He was fine, but I think Faletau is better and I was surprised he didn't start. Henshaw and Harris seems to limited in attack IMO. If I were playing Harris at 13 I'd rather have Farrell at 12. I'm not sure Henshaw and Daly worked particularly well but I don't know what would work better.
