NorthernLights
After a pretty decent World Cup can we genuinely go into the Six Nations with a bit of hope next year?
honestly united
I thought we might to begin with, but you have to factor in France and maybe England will have new coaches and Wales will have about 10 players back from injury. I think if we win 2 or 3 games it will be a good championship, but I wouldn't rule out us winning it, we have as good a chance as anyone
Bully Wee Villa
There have been too many false dawns. Fifth or sixth place.
peasy23
Tbh, any wins at all is an improvement, I would hope we can manage two.
Mark Connolly
Tough fixtures for us - the two traditional harder games at home, and Ireland, Wales and Italy away. I'd take any two wins.
Carl Cort's Hamstring
Tough fixtures for us - the two traditional harder games at home, and Ireland, Wales and Italy away. I'd take any two wins. You have to target France at home. They're awful.
John Lambies Doos
You have to target France at home. They're awful. Exactly. We should be winning that one at a canter
dorlomin
Scotlands line out is a real concern. It has a habit of falling apart and rugby is a very tough game when you are conceding possession from your own throw ins, it affects a lot of other things like field kicking and the speed you can release your backs at. Our scrum is as good as it has ever been in the professional era, Nel and Dickinson are excellent scrummagers. In the lose we are also pretty handy. The handling skills in the backs seems massively better than a couple of years ago and our defence is reasonably solid. Areas we need to work on, but we have the potential to push most teams hard. Lots of our better players are pretty young.

We leak a lot of trys, and can't defend rolling mauls.

honestly united
With him and Russell signing long term deals it looks like the sru are making an effort to get the best young players tied down to playing in Scotland which is good to see
peasy23
With him and Russell signing long term deals it looks like the sru are making an effort to get the best young players tied down to playing in Scotland which is good to see I would hope that they try and get the coach tied up on a longer deal too, I had my doubts when Townsend took over but the whole club has kicked on to another level since he was brought in. Edit to add: Johnny Gray has been named as the new Warriors captain. Edited November 4, 2015 by peasy23
