same_ol_g35
Sour grapes from Anscombe. Anyway, it's the home team that changes shirts to avoid clashes.

I'm not the biggest rugby fan ever, and I'm not an international player by any stretch of the imagination and even I know that the home team changes in rugby union. How does he not know that?

Mark Connolly
He even says the ref told him the rule, but he doesn't think that's right. It's not like a Welsh team to moan after they lose.
honestly united
Anscombe is a seething mess in that, the ref tell him its up to Cardiff to change strip if they are unhappy but at no point do Cardiff decide to change the strip. IF it was that bad surely they could have changed at half time or at any point during the game. Glasgow as the away side turn up with their kit, and its up to the home side to change if there is a clash, as the home side should have access to another kit. Seemingly the kits were submitted to EPCR and they decided there wasn't a clash.
Savage Henry
He even uses "in this day and age". I'm only surprised he didn't begin his rant with "Why oh why oh why".
Mark Connolly
In this day and age, you'd expect a club playing at home, with their club shop on site, to be able to get a second set of jerseys.
Allan Jacobsen
This is even worse: https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/rugby/rugby-news/wales-fly-half-gareth-anscombe-15308586 Quote "I don't know if I'm 50-50 Welsh-Kiwi – but I used to have a jersey that was half red for Wales and half black for New Zealand." Half and half w****r.

Problem is the other Cardiff options are a similar home kit, or their white away kit (maybe still a clash?). Best option would've been if someone spotted the clash earlier, and had Cardiff (away) v Glasgow home (black). Why didn't Glasgow just get someone to take a helicopter up the road and get a set of Glasgow jerseys.... Honestly he seems a good player but a bit dim.
topcat(The most tip top)
The kit situation was apparently complicated further by the fact that the regular Pro 14 Cardiff Kits don't have the European tournament logos on them or more importantly the tournament sponsor logos This photo from the tournament launch shows the problems there would have been it Glasgow had worn the dark shirt It also shows that Callum Gibbins has lost none of the skills that made him New Zealand and Cook Islands musical chairs champion 4 years running between 2007 and 2010 Edited October 22, 2018 by topcat(The most tip top)
afca32
Watched the Glasgow highlights having seen the tries live (at work so too busy to appreciate them properly). Every one a classic. Think that is one of their best results under Rennie. Don’t agree with those that said Toulon were terrible. They kicked poorly and had little invention but made big metres when they carried and put in some bruising hits. Think Edinburgh would’ve beaten Cardiff or Ulster for example by a similar amount playing that well. They were that good. Was impressed with Tonga despite an easy win for the Kangaroos. There is much more to that team than just Taumololo and Fifita.

GAD
It's a pity we have to wait till December now for the next round of matches, for both Scottish teams. It would be great if both sides could get through. The way its set up as well means Edinburghs double header against Newcastle should be absolutely epic. Hopefully the big names can get through the AIs unscathed and give it a real go. What a difference to last year.
Detournement
Bradbury is already crocked. Fagerson will probably start in Cardiff now. Ritchie and Crosbie will get more game time for Edinburgh.
ajwffc
Alainu'uese has now left Glasgow and has joined Toulon. Also Bath have been told that they will not be granted a replay as the ref's watch, stadium clock, TMO's watch all had the match time as 80min and the TV clock was wrong.

He was close to completing residency too. Now reset to 5 years.... Also Bath were always up shit creek on that one, refs call on timekeeping is usually final. The opposition were poor but Glasgow and in this case Edinburgh played well and took full advantage.

At least Cardiff visit Scotstoun.

It'll be an opportunity to get on track domestically though as I'm not hopeful about getting much at Thomond Park this Sat.
