Does anyone know if any of the main supermarkets or M&S stock it? I had a look around Sainsbury's, Tesco and M&S but I couldn't find any Anchor Porter. I picked up a few cans of Salted Caramel Porter in Markies along with a variety of lagers and IPAs. It's not bad, although I can't detect any salted caramel flavour. As porters go it's alright, though I have had much better. I also picked up an Indiana Jones box set for £4 in Cex. Tonight I'm having an Indy binge while getting slowly sozzled. mathematics
It’ll be a month tomorrow I’d be off the booze. However, my mate is visiting from Inverness. So I’ve bought an 18year old Bowmore and I expect us to do some damage on it.

Very smoky.

Billy Jean King
My first pub pint in 4 months was mighty fine in the Ayrshire sunshine last night even if it was just a Coast to Coast.

Hedgecutter
1 hour ago, Bairnardo said: Got no beer. Seething. I'm stuck in solitary isolation in a 'dry' hotel room that is 35 mins walk from my house on a sunny day (Covid-testing procedure prior to heading offshore). What's worse is that my house will undoubtedly be a Covid-free zone seeing as nobody has been in it for over a week and I know there's a 12 pack of Innis & Gunn in the garage as well as a Marlborough sauv' blanc in the fridge. Not too fussed about not getting a drink whilst I'm away, but the knowledge that I can just walk over there just now is particularly testing.
Billy Jean King
Good start beer wise, the table is howling though.I noticed that in the photo wasn't immediately obvious in real time. It was clearly one taken out to increase outside capacity but looks like it hadn't been cleaned which is poor.
Billy Jean King
Where were you? That's outside the South Beach hotel in Troon. Troon suffers from a lack of outdoor drinking bar 1 pub and the hotels.
