Hedgecutter
This stuff is delightful. A 6.5% with Innes & Gun oak hints, but done much better imo. A solid 8/10

Craig fae the Vale
Excellent collaboration between Sureshot and Verdant. And yes, that is a new toaster!
Archie McSquackle
7 Hop Ale from Moonwake in Leith. Quite nice but not a strong flavour considering it's 5.5%.
Archie McSquackle
Chronic American Pale Ale from Thornbridge is disappointing. What little taste it has isn't very nice.
centralTon
Where are you getting that from? Lidl. 6 pack for £12.99.

It wasn't intentional but it's not that far off the truth.
Bairnardo
Tegernseer, Spaten and Augsutiner Edelstoff, with a Marzen Rauchbier, and a Tryst Brewery Pilsner is tonight's line up. Very much looking forward to a night of German awesomeness with a wee bit of support for the local lads aswell.

Bairnardo
Tryst Brewings pilsner is first up. It's bottle conditioned, like all their beers, and I have a problem with that unfortunately. It suits some beers, where the yeast is required to provide some of the flavour profile. Just doesn't work in a lager though. Furthermore I think bottle conditioning contributes a taste of its own, outside of the actual yeast that carries into the beer. Again, it doesn't work in pursuit of a clean tasting lager. It's not a bad beer, but as a pilsner.... Na
Bairnardo
Somewhat predictably, the lads at Augustiner absolutely knocking the socks off the Tryst effort. This edelstoff stuff is wonderful.

Bairnardo
The Rauchbier is nice but it's heavy going. Glad I left it till last.
