Samuel Smith Organic Chocolate Stout

Pretty much as you'd expect.

Weighs in a 5% and has quite a strong flavour. Decent, but I could not drink more than one in an evening.

I just had a glass of V gallery vodka. Neat and chilled. Marshmallow flavour. Since that glass of it I'm about to be £100 Depp in 5 bottles of it come Friday. Sensational. Only 21% but by christ it's tasty. Will be buying a variety of flavours to test them out.

Good to see it’s on sale in Scotland. Most 4 Pines beers are very good if you can find any others. They’re now under CUB as part of the Asahi group. 4 pines were removed from the foreshore at Manly during WW2 to build machine gun emplacements so that’s why the name.

First stout I've ever had from Vault City. In their true style, it's a bit bonkers, based on a Bounty. It is a delight.

A really good IPA at 6.5% from Rehn Bier from Tanunda in South Australia’s Barossa Valley. The Barossa is where Jacob’s Creek, Grant Burge, Wolf Blass, St Hallett and many more wines come from. Backpack Ale Hazy Pale, a collaboration between Mountain Culture and Stone & Wood brewed at Mountain Culture in Katoomba. It’s good.

Best In Show Hoppy Hazy Wheat and according to the label it is “To commemorate the spirit of collaboration, innovation and excellence among indie breweries across Australia, this limited-edition Hopfenweisse brings together the top talents from the 2023 Indies Awards State and Territory Champions. AskForIndueBeer.com.au”. Despite all that and the worry of too many cooks this is a fantastic wheat beer. One of the best Australian wheat beers I’ve tasted, the list of breweries is in one of the photos although it was brewed at Brick Lane in Dandenong South.
