Craig fae the Vale
Single hop double dry hopped NEIPA from Polly's. Outstanding.
Craig fae the Vale
Tasty wee hazy pale from Beatnikz Republic.
Craig fae the Vale
Williams Brothers call it a lager, Untappd calls it a Kölsch. Either way it's not bad, can really taste the cherries.
Archie McSquackle
Starting tonight with a Tyskie - lovely.
Archie McSquackle
No-one else drinking tonight? I'm now on Paulaner Oktoberfest, actually tastes very similar to Tyskie.
Archie McSquackle
I've really taken to Hazy Jane recently.
Eednud
This is from Nicaragua. Liked Tona from the same brewery but this is just marginally better than XXXX Gold. Only good things about it are the 60 cents I’ll get back when I eventually take the empties to the bottle and can depot, the use of Light instead of the shite lite and the name Halcón peregrino means peregrine falcon. Why do light beers make you want to pish more often? ETA: This is 3.8% which from memory is the same or higher than some “full strength” imports we sometimes see here like John Smith’s Smooth and Tetley Bitter. centralTon
Fantastic TIPA from Northern Monk, would never know it’s 10.5%. [emoji4]
Archie McSquackle
Wow, 10.5%! Careful now.I'm starting the evening with a much safer Brooklyn Lager.
Archie McSquackle
I've heard so many good things about Overtone I thought I'd treat myself. Having a can of Weegie, a pretty good Neipa but not convinced it's worth £4.50 compared to other similar beers available.

superwell87
An explosion of tropical flavours. Very delightful.
Paul Kersey
I've seen this posted on this thread a few times but this is my first time trying it. Pretty good. Strong, but not overwhelming, smoky flavour. It's like a cross between a Bavarian bier and an Islay malt.
Archie McSquackle
I'm away to Argyll for a few days so starting off with a pre-dinner Vital Spark from Fyne Ales. Lovely and rich. Hitting the spot, just need to get the fire lit now.

Archie McSquackle
Had a Hurricane Jack with my dinner, now onto a bottle of Avalanche - not as strong a flavour, should probably have started with it.
centralTon
Aventinus in my 1970’s Pilsner Urquell glass. Both are presents from my son, both are superb.
