Salt n Vinegar
It's all tied up in legalese, but I think the ICJ has just told Israel to GTF over it's assault on Rafah.

vikingTON
Beginning to think that the issue might just be with the American client state and not the international rules based order that the West laughably claims to uphold.

Dunning1874
With more and more civilians pushed into refugee encampments around Rafah, because they were once again told by the IDF these were safe zones, those safe zones were bombed last night. Predictably, fire spread among tents and burned people alive in addition to all those killed by the initial blast. It has been for 75 years, but this is the most glaring act of a state operating with total impunity that believes no rules should or do apply to them. The ICJ orders them to stop, so they ramp up the ethnic cleansing of the civilian population to stick two fingers up at them. Israel's allies in the US and UK who have been saying for months that Rafah is a red line and there must be no attack not only do nothing to enforce this red line once it begins, but actively encourage them to continue. It's clear that no such thing as a rules based international order actually exists, but if it did Biden and Sunak would be joining Netanyahu on trial for their complicity in this.

Israel has become everything I have always felt the Jewish people needed to be supported against. A disgusting Extremist Regime that exists to bring misery & genocide against other people based on nothing else than Intolerance. Hamas are Terrorist Scum but two wrongs will never make a right & the Israeli Leaders & the IDF are using them as an excuse for Ethnic Cleansing in plain view of the world.
Dunning1874
There's been an exchange of fire between Egyptian and Israeli soldiers at the Rafah crossing, with an Egyptian soldier being killed. Unclear who fired first, but this will definitely calm things down.

I always leaned towards Israel - within reason - but their actions these last few years have been beyond the pale. As you say, two wrongs don't make a right, but it is an absolutely horrific situation. Our government should hang its head in shame.

The Golden God
Piers Morgan tweeting some Zionist making the correct point that Britain didn’t bomb Belfast when the IRA were attacking England, the Zionists replying “but Hamas are much worse than the IRA”. Ignoring that it’s not the dead civilians fault in either case, maybe asks yourself why Hamas are so bad? Maybe it’s got something to do with you attacking them for decades?
Barney Rubble
Piers Morgan should be banged up in jail for the airtime he continues to give to the likes of Mark Regev and Douglas Murray to spout their bigotry in the face of the recent atrocities. And that's before we even consider the frankly atrocious hear no evil, see no evil stance from both Cameron and Biden. I notice that the unhinged bellend appointed to the position of Israeli Ambassador to the UK has been absent from any media appearances recently. Granny Danger
Hamas actions that caused this latest conflict cannot be excused but it can be explained. Israel have been murdering Palestinians for years, herding them in prison like conditions and defying all international rulings on building new settlements in the West Bank and the west has done nothing but make token protests. The latest atrocities are unparalleled but this is a snapshot of comparative deaths and injuries in some of the years leading up to the latest conflict. It’s easy to see why there is such resentment on the Palestinian side and why many would see armed opposition as a just response.
