At what point is a stop put to this? How long will the UK and US blindly back it? For as long as the main parties in both countries are in the pockets of Zionist lobbies. I mean, without going back over ancient history, I rather suspect that Palestinians moved out of their homes (by the Brits) to make the state of Israel decades ago may possibly disagree that they "started it". The problem - and it exists on both sides - is that neither of them want to acknowledge the atrocities that they have committed and make anything approaching a goodwill gesture. I would love this to have a "Good Friday Agreement" moment, but I rather think it will go the other way and Iran will be pissing itself laughing..................... I know we , Brits , were / are part of the problem but when did we move Palestinians out of their homes ? Legitimate target, and they even sent an msn message to the janny to warn the decent less scummy Palestinians to get out . Trogdor
There can be no justification for that. That is utterly abhorrent.
Leith Green
Israel say it was a Hamas rocket that went wrong and they would never target a hospital. Conveniently forgetting that Archbishop Justin Welby tweeted to the world that Israel hit the same hospital on Saturday (its run by the church).

I really don't think an Entebbe-style raid is feasible here, or certainly not a successful one. And surely freeing the hostages in, say, a prisoner exchange loses them any leverage with Israel. Dreadful for everyone involved except for Hamas and Israeli hawks. A prisoner/hostage exchange deal along with a ceasefire would be a huge victory for Hamas, so it's not going to happen without a miraculous outbreak of rationality.

Jaggy McJagface
Middle Eastern leaders starting to pull out of meetings with Biden now. Netanyahu and his cronies only have one move available to them. Which is to plough on regardless. After the colossal intelligence failure anything else will be seen as weakness for the strongman. It's compunded by the fact that Israel doesn't recognise the ICC either, much the same as Russia in that regard.
101
France24 reporters have looked into a clip the Israeli Defence Force posted earlier and have concluded that the Israeli soldiers shoot 4 people who are unarmed and have surrendered in the clip. Bidens meeting tomorrow will have some agenda if they are going to try and get things back from the brink.
Sherrif John Bunnell
Israel blatantly committing the most appalling crime and then pretending it was the other side is straight out of the Putin playbook. If Hamas had access to missiles capable of that kind of damage, then they would have been launching them at Israel long before now. Hopefully Netanyahu finds himself up in The Hague one day, but that will never happen.
