    Not keen on the pessimism of the Forfar lads, I have to say. Been to Angus too many times following RRFC to know it’ll definitely not be straight forward.

    That’s a cracking level of f**k ups for one interview. As you say, perhaps deliberate as to distract from the fact that Peterhead were well beaten. If not, a bit worrying that a manager can stand so close to the action and get so many details utterly incorrect.

    Have trawled this thread but can’t see anything other than The Plough mentioned for Forfar, which is permanently shut now according to google. We’ll be up early doors and looking for somewhere to get a pub lunch and maybe watch the early game within walking distance of the ground.

    Watched the highlights there, mostly to see the Geggan “chokeslam”. It’s one of those ones where it’s probably just about the correct decision. Yellow seems like not enough to Dunfermline but red would seem outrageous to Ayr. Tough one to call but referee gets its right, just.

    Don’t think Fleming makes many saves in the first half you wouldn’t completely expect him to make, the one from Gullan’s diving header is pretty good but not outstanding. Tait’s strike is a wee bit of a floater and perhaps he should move his feet a wee bit faster for it. Red card is a definite. Two stick on bookings. He’s so slow to get to the second one.

    Pretty hopeful Gullan will be back at the end of January. Until then, the others needs to step up and start hitting the back of the net - starting with Baird.

    They need to be able to make challenges. Being sent off for booting someone off the ball or an elbow or shouting at the ref is in acceptable but lambasting a centre half for making a tackle seems too far.

    Fleming always seems to have a phenomenal game against us.

    Same team as last week. Davo serves his final game of suspension and Tait keeps his place. Confident that side will have enough today.
