  1. The twitter account says Mitchell has a knock but the post above about the others being left out so they don't get injured makes sense.
  2. Don't think there will be many changes at Firhill. We've maxed out our domestic loan usage but the loans of Ben Williamson and Nathan McGinley are up in January, Williamson is about 5th choice centre mid and McGinley hasn't played a minute since signing, so both of them could go. Though there's also a rumour we've agreed a PCA with Williamson which doesn't make much sense given his lack of game time. Wes Mcdonald hasn't worked out at all, hasn't made the last few squads and good chance he gets mutually consented back to England in January. Dowds could go to Ayr on a permanent deal but would be up to Ayr to decide if having him tied down, freeing up a loan slot and being able to play 2 extra games vs us is worth what fee we'd want rather than agreeing a PCA and getting him for free in the summer. In terms of incoming, think most are agreed that a defensive midfielder, a winger, and a left sided centre back would be the shopping list, Doolan has already acknowledged the first is a need.
  3. https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com/sport/2023/dec/27/scott-williams-darts-sky-apology-martin-schindler Why are so many English darts players gammon c***s?
  4. Did think it might be related to Celtic but I also thought he'd have to give up playing if he wanted that job which I'd have guessed he's not ready to do yet.
  5. Not one to live long in the memory that, I thought at half time we'd go on and win as we'd recovered from what you might charitably call a slow start, but our tactic for the entire second half was to hit long diagonals out of play. Subs were all pish again, genuinely forgot Robinson was on and Adeloye doesn't look arsed. Last half hour we couldn't get out of our own half and when ICT got a corner in the 93rd minute that was clearly a goal kick I thought that the sucker punch was coming but thankfully not. All 5 games ending in draws so a waste of a weekend for all involved.
  6. What is going on with Barney's napper? Looks like he's had a hair implant / transplant but isn't letting it grow out.
  7. Never noticed Wattimena had a version of Bella Ciao as his walk on. Puts him in the good books for me.
  8. Match of the tournament there
  9. If he gets through he should get a bye as there's no way that Gilding can be allowed within 100 yards of a 16 year old.
  10. Morton's last few results have made this a bit better looking, might not have been far away about QP if McCall hadn't gone to Clyde.
  11. Aye, this. When Fitzpatrick was out earlier in the season we tried Mcdonald for one game and he was hopeless, then played various centre mids out of position. Squad is a bit lopsided in terms of having about seven central players and three wingers but with one surely on his way out. Not sure I'd be massively convinced with either Williams or Neilson in midfield full time tbh. At least we already tried Muirhead there about 9 years ago (at Celtic park and Tynecastle) so can write that one off.
  12. We might also get bids in for Fitzpatrick given his form of late. While he signed a 3 year deal in the summer we don't know what release clauses are in it.
  13. The AFC playoff race is mad. If Buffalo wins their last 3 they have a reasonable shot at second seed, but if they lose just one they're more likely than not out entirely because of tiebreak losses.
  14. We're also at our max of 5 domestic loans (Williamson, Neilson, Ngwenya, McGinley, McInroy) so at least one of them will have to go if we're loaning from another Scottish club.
  15. Cowboys still have their starters in 4 scores down with 5 minutes to go in the pissing rain for reasons I don't know. If one of them gets injured then the HC needs booted in the nuts
  16. Backups in for Buffalo after Dak picked off. Most comfortable win over a contender I can remember in a long time. Still need to win the next 2 vs Chargers (a) and NE (h) to set up a week 18 game in Miami that could be for the division if the Dolphins drop one of their next two games but winning out would almost certainly make the playoffs.
  17. James Cook is playing like God tonight, he's been freed since the OC change. As at end of last drive Dallas have 92 yards and Cook has 221. Being pernickety the Bills D has dropped 3 picks so it's only a 9.5/10 performance
  18. 21-3 Buffalo at HT, all 3 Bills TDs have come on drives where Dallas commited a personal foul (roughing the passer, roughing the punter, defenceless receiver). James Cook having the game of his career so far. Allen only has about 73 yards passing, it's all in the run game which is the opposite of the last few years. Defence missing about 5 starters playing lights out against the Cowboys offence. As it is the Buffalo Bills it will no doubt - at best - come down to defending a hail Mary on the last play but can't argue with the first half at all.
  19. Starting to get to the time when we can think about January window moves. Mcdonald hasn't even made the bench last couple of games and not sure he's injured, he'd be the most obvious candidate for a "mutually consented" Williamson and Mcginley's loans are up at some point in January. There was a post on here which said Williamson has signed a pre contract but he's at best 5th choice centre mid at the moment so it would seem a bit strange. Obviously impossible to judge McGinley given he hasn't played. We definitely need a holding midfielder and probably another winger regardless of whether Mcdonald goes.
  20. Those might be the two worst QB sneaks I've ever seen. Only needed about 6 inches across 2 downs and lost yards.
