Good to see, backs up my theory that we don't give a toss about reserve games. It's about to be 2024 and we've won one reserve game in the 2020s.

First of our back to back trips to Fife, which happens again near the end of the season. We haven't won in 8 games in Kirkcaldy, stretching back 12 years (we didn't play each other for 7 years tbf). There was a rumour Graham got two red cards vs Morton but don't think Thistle have confirmed or denied. If it was only one red card he should be back.

To expand on this: B: Spain, Italy, Albania. There's a chance 3 points gets you through so it could have come down to beating Albania but that's the sort of game that has 1-1 all over it. C : England, Denmark, Serbia. Hard nope albeit Denmark probably aren't what they were 4 years ago. D : France, Austria, Play off A (Wales / Poland / Finland / Estonia). Sort of group where France have a stupid result but not against us, and if it was Wales they'd bring Bale out of retirement to score a 40 yard free kick which took 3 separate deflections E: Belgium, Romania, Playoff B (Israel / Iceland / Bosnia / Ukraine). OK I'd take this one but even still it's not a huge upgrade F: Portugal, Turkey, Playoff C (Georgia / Luxembourg / Greece / Kazakhstan). Similar to B you'd fancy us vs whatever playoff winner but we'd be under huge pressure to win that game.

The way I look at these is what groups would I swap into and the only one I'd say for definite is E. B, C, and D are no and F much of a muchness, think Turkey are better than Hungary and Portugal better than Germany.

Sky Bet are offering 11/2 on Scotland and England being drawn in the same group which if my maths is correct is a 5/1 shot. Only max bet £10 tho

Calvin Ramsay made his comeback tonight as a half time sub for Preston vs Boro and has looked decent in a poor Preston team. Long way from the 23 at the moment but a depth option.

McInroy is out of contract in the summer and almost certainly has no future at Killie. Would think most FT championship clubs and a couple of Premiership ones will be in for him. Alston has been fine played further forward these last couple of games but that's a failing of the squad building where we have him, McInroy, Robinson and even James Lyon (the latter two are also under contract with us for next season) who are all best as a number 10.

Think mcmillan will be the only one of our own signed players still out of contract we'll be making a big effort to keep. Muirhead, Alston (and one or both senior keepers) can probably wait til nearer the summer. Plenty of stability for next season anyway unless we go up and then panic about how many could cut it, but doubt we'll have to worry about that.

Not sure we've had much of an update on our injuries. Was hoping with the international break that Milne and McInroy would have made it back last week. Robinson is a perennial sicknote so any return for him is a bonus.

I've been coming round to this point of view for a while now especially in the VAR age, which I hate myself for as it's very much a viewpoint of "guy on twitter who supports the USMNT" and doesn't just talk about xG but also field tilt. But yeah, feels like penalties are too harsh a punishment for the majority of fouls inside the box. Obviously rugby tackling someone about to tap into an open goal is still deserving of a penalty. There was one last year in a championship game, Raith were at home to (I think) Ayr and a guy was running towards the corner flag near the goal line and got tripped just inside the box, the chances of them scoring from the original position where the foul took place must have been tiny. I don't know how you would fix it though, allow direct free kicks in the box if it's not been a clear goalscoring opportunity (eg handball blocking a cross)? Is it the severity of the tackle or the position of the foul inside the box?

Squad is up to date, might be a couple of ages that need updated but I'll do that in January

First thought was wouldn't it be typical if we went up there and pumped them. Then moved to the more realistic scenario that we lose in the last minute to a Simon Murray sclaff. Now realised that since Adams is the manager and we play them in January they'll have an entire new squad. I've long had a suspicion Adams would end up managing us one day and that it wouldn't go well.

And now 0-6 after Gabe Davis forgets to turn around on a walk in TD on the Bills OT drive and the Eagles walk down the field with no resistance. 2 dropped walk in TDs, 2 missed FGs without even mentioning the refs. This team is cursed.

The Bills find more stupid ways to lose games than anything I've ever seen. If poyer tackles him rather than bat's it down then the eagles don't have time to get their fg unit on. Then the eagles kicker hits from 59 yards in the pissing rain and sideways wind. And McDermott burns a time out then kneels it out anyway. Bills are 0-5 in overtime since Allen was drafted

Surprised the refs didn't give the eagles a DPI on the Bills 1 yard line on that botched hand-off.
