I'm not sure that paying to look at knobs would make me cheerful, but as you were.

Was more saying that it makes me laugh that a museum like this exists not that I'll be waiting outside for it opening with my camera in hand.

About time they tell their drivers to get back to work and stop fucking around. Al the west coast services run with the driver operating the doors, ScotRail have already said there will still be a 2nd member of staff on the train so what's the fuckin problem??

Plenty of people want to be train drivers, tell them to get back to work or be replaced by someone who wants to do the job.

Yes - my Sunday plans were ruined... 97 minutes in a fuckin bus for a 45 minute (detoured) train journey... Safe to say, stayed at home!

The issue is with conductors striking and not drivers. Train drivers aren't bothered - it's the conductors who will have less work to do and probably lose income from the proposals.

  3. Was playing a few games online last night with my mate.  Decided to have a go at the women's football.  This happened....

For those who can't be assed watching.  Basically Brazil (not me) were offside and Sweden (me) had a free kick which I took with my keeper.  For some reason though all the players were still in their offside just given mode meaning that everybody was just basically wandering around and I couldn't control anyone.  The computer controlled the Brazilian goalie the whole way up the pitch to accidentally score.

Absolutely fuming I was.  Lost 6-1 as I basically lost the head

The evening tele says Martin Scott, ex Ross County, Hibs, Livi and Raith midfielder, trained with us last night and may sign before the United game. I though he was a centre mid but on the Stenhousemuir thread I saw he played left wing as a trialist for them last weekend.

Played as a trialist for us a a couple of weeks ago.  Didn't see the match so can't comment on his performance!

If you guys sign Liam Callaghan then you've got a decent enough player there. Would have been happy to keep him this season.

Aye it was, it just remember reading him getting a solid slagging every week from you lot. He's actually looked alright in the friendlies, but would be a pretty uninspiring signing

Possibly it could just be that he didn't like playing for us which last season would be understandable.  He always seemed to want a couple more seconds than he was allowed to get on the ball.  Not much of a tackler either.  I'd be worried if I was a Sons fan and he was signed!

Apologies if it came across as disrespectful, but most of the subs we brought on wouldn't get near either of our respective first teams.

Ours were 3 trialists; a guy from Clydebank Juniors, a guy who played for Strathspey Thistle, and a guy who couldn't get in a woeful Cowden team last season along with two youth team players. McCallum's had a few starts, but still has yet to fully convince and Ryan Clark who only made his full debut on Monday night.

So aye, your subs were almost certainly better. Certainly Agnew, the 11 (Mcloesky or something?) and Kemp.

Is that Gibbons you mean?  Sadly Gibbons did get in our team last season.  He was absolutely awful.  Admittedly I only saw him play twice but in both games he was a passenger.  I doubt any Cowden fans would want to see him back at Central Park.

Best of luck to him if he does sign for Dumbarton.  Maybe not being in a relegation battle with Colin Nish in charge will bring out the best in him!

  7. gibbons was fine in the championship with us, the whole cowdenbeath team were a disaster last season so i wouldnt read too much into his spell there. he was previously captain of aberdeen u20s when they won the league in 14-15

Even though the whole Cowden team was a disaster I can confirm that Gibbons stood out as awful.  Poor first touch, poor tackling and shite passing. That's nothing to do with the rest of the team being a disaster that's down to his ability.

I wouldn't wish Gibbons on any team!

  8. Ending was a bit of a let down but I liked the fact that it went full circle.  The first episode started with her slapping Peter and ended on a slap. Was good to see Cary doing his new thing.

No more Eli makes me sad.

  9. My biggest issue with new phones is that the contracts are all now aimed at people using a ridiculously high data package.  I use less than 1gb a month (wifi at home and work) but when I went for my LG G5 with Vodafone I only really had 2 options as I'm not paying extra for data I won't ever use.

8Gb of data seems ridiculous to me but perhaps people need it for their work!

  10. It might be tedious to you mate but obviously with the demand for it theres people who still enjoy it

I fair enjoy the challenges that Clarkson and co do.  Not just the epic adventures but the buy 3 cars and turn them into ambulances etc.

  11. Isn't it GTF day?

    Monday I think.

Think he's cover for both - Andy Geggan cover. With AJ and Sandy Clark, they're not interested in possession for the sake of it - if he can add a bit of muscle, win balls in the air and get it to Cardle/Paton/Moff etc to run it at folk that will be fine. Doesn't need to be an especially dynamic midfielder.

That's what we thought when we signed him and I'm sure he played a dozen or so games in midfield.  He was miles better in defense - handy enough as a back up though for midfield.
