I am Scottish and proud of it and voted no in the referendum on independence. I will remain Scottish and still vote no in any other referendum. The reason is simple. The "relatively normal people" in the SNP Scottish Parliament do not speak or think like "normal people" Normal people have different opinions and disagree with various matters of government. No-one in the SNP is allowed to stray from the party line whether or not they agree or wish to state an opinion. I cannot accept that. I would not wish to suggest other political parties from the past who have not allowed criticism or alternative ideas from within but the SNP come dangerously close. I want politicians who speak their minds not nodding dogs.

I remember that one of the main worries at the time of the last indy ref was what currency Scotland would have. No answer then but surely they can answer it now given the thinking time they have had. Anyone know?

The only inevitable if SNP call for another indyref is that they will lose and the only reason another one has not been called is that they know they will lose. However I admire your faith in them.

We can all criticise each others teams in Angus, but the hard fact is that we need each other to remain viable. Surely the best scenario next season is a first division with Brechin, Forfar(as champions). Arbroath (play off winners) and Montrose getting their act together under Petrie and coming up the season after.

I cant see what difference it would make to Rangers or Celtic having colt teams in lower leagues. They will still have hundreds of young players on their books, continue to impress the SFA with their youth teams but still will bring in ageing players from around the globe and sign any other good young players that other Clubs have brought on. Its the old firm way and won't change.
