  1. I tend to have completion issues, I will start a game and end up not completing it. However I'm currently playing The Last of Us and I am determined to finish it to see what all the fuss is about. From what I remember TLR was criticised quite heavily, however for £2 it could well be worth giving it a go to see what it's about. Tales of Xillia has finally been given a Western release and will arrive on the 9th of August, if you are looking for a JRPG after TLR then that one should have a degree of quality about it. Amazon are doing it quite cheaply for £33.99 and if you pre-order before the 9th then you receive exclusive packaging, soundtrack and an artbook which is a good deal.
  2. It's my favourite genre beside RPG's. I've played many in my time, currently playing Warcraft III and Galactic Civilisations II (if I can find the time to sit down and master it). They are excellent for boosting intelligence, so much so the University of Florida uses Starcraft in an online module.
  3. I like to collect soundtracks so couldn't turn down Bastion and the original soundtrack for around £2.50. Unsure if I'm ever going to have the time to play all of the games I have purchased so far though.
  4. Yeah I noticed that a while ago when GiGi tried to add me, it would appear I have a popular name! RossLobster aye?
  5. Pretty much the same situation as myself to be honest. I'm trying to curb my spending in the sale, I just don't have the time to play everything I'm buying. However some of the deals are just far too good to turn down.
  6. My steam name is, unsurprisingly, Islay if anyone makes a list and wants to add me to it. I only have three steam friends...
  7. Yup I was playing it for about 15 minutes yesterday just to test it out, looks promising so far. Will be playing it for a bit longer today to gain a better judgement. It's definitely a game that requires a controller though, I've opted for the PS3 one.
  8. I have an Intel quad-core i7 2.7 GHZ processor, 16 GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M with 1GB of GDDR5 memory. It should run a game from four years ago without any problems, Tomb Raider runs on high settings very well. I don't seem to be alone in my problem, this appears to be a major issue.
  9. I've purchased Tom Raider, Fez and GTA IV so far. Happy with the first two but GTA IV is a horrible port to PC, there appears to be a serious amount of issues with the game with Rockstar offering very little help in the way of solving the issues.
  10. I highly recommend The Witcher 2, it's a bargain at £3.74 especially for the enhanced edition.
  11. Yeah I thought that was a bit strange
  12. Shall leave this here if anyone is interested: http://www.gamestop.co.uk/GTAVTrade?&utm_source=tradedoubler
  13. I've relented and just bought Fez with the original soundtrack for £5.99. I was tempted to buy FM 2013 at 75% off but decided against it, will probably wait for 2014. 75% off The Walking Dead just now which is tempting.
  14. No, they aren't. Dowie is a far better player than Higgins unless Higgins has managed to vastly improve his ability by playing at a lower level.

I have a wide genre of taste to be honest, I was at Download a few weeks ago and now Robbie Williams today. I heard Olly Murs on Radio 1's Big Weekend and was impressed, I wasn't exactly keen on him beforehand however now I am really looking forward to seeing him live.

Well that was just tremendous! Felt quite sorry for Fluorescent Hearts though, they must have played to about 60 unenthusiastic people! Still, all three bands were tremendous. Finch just topped the evening off perfectly with an incredible set!

Nice find! You can definitely hear the influence in some of their songs.

I'm looking forward to it, first time seeing Finch live. I'm looking forward to Mallory Knox and Fluorescent Hearts as well. I would even argue the latter has a touch of Savage Garden about it, who are one of my guilty pleasures. I bought FH's debut album and really enjoyed it.
  22. If Masterton ever returns from Switzerland I will be utterly astonished. There has to be a reason he fled the country?
  23. I wouldn't say that on DAFC.net, some people could take it seriously and regard it as threatening behaviour...
