Not sure I agree with that. Our game yesterday had a player two footing the keeper which the ref only gave yellow to. It was correct of VAR to go, you sure about that, and get the referee to upgrade it. Beaton had this opportunity to go to the screen and say, I am happy with a yellow, but we know that in Scotland they pretty much never go against the VAR.

How can you be yards away and think that is a yellow

I think he just tried to be too clever and tripped over his own feet. That red card however, how VAR had to check it - clear 2 footed lunge.

I saw that but don't think Callaghan threw his elbow back, it was just up as he jumped for a header and caught Flynn. Risky however. I just thought he was massively inconsistent in what he was giving as free kicks which was frustrating, particularly as Main was getting a doing from Watson and Baldwin. He did miss Strain stealing about 20 yards on a throw too!

Ross County looked utterly dreadful today. Thought they might have put up a better performance given they had only lost to Rangers and Livi since the turn of the year.

Should have won that by a lot more. County were absolutely mince in the first half and improved in the second but we were still fairly comfortable despite the injury crisis. Referee was unbelievable at times - Main was basically getting pushed and shoved all over the place with no issues at all. Keith Watson got booked then made an identical foul about a minute later too!

Ever since that howling performance in the playoff v Dundee United I'm convinced Beaton hates us. He tried everything to make us lose that playoff and failed so.... That said no complaints about losing tonight. Hate a midweek after an Old Firm thumping, and Motherwell were always going to be right up for it with a new manager. We were insipid against Motherwell in the last home game so no surprise to see us lose given circumstances. Every season we seem to drop the performances in February. Happened under Goodwin as well and it's very frustrating. The last two results in the league are thoroughly disappointing.

We are nowhere near good enough for top 6. Our away form is howling.

I actually didn't think we played brilliantly the last time we faced Motherwell. Did enough to win, but we were a bit meh. Never a huge fan of playing off a short week after being at Celtic Park neither.

I actually think a number of the politicians are prepared for the stock questions, but lack the nous to think on their feet and adjust quickly without looking like a rabbit in the headlights or making errors when off script. Sturgeon could do that with ease.

I thought Taylor was solid enough. The red was very unlucky and I'd probably start the same team via Well.

Always get nervous when a side has bagged their manager and we're next up to play them. Think we've been playing reasonably well but been lacking a bit of cutting edge in recent weeks.

Glasgow on 2015 odd was great. Hogg, Russell, Nakarawa, Jonny Gray were top talents. Anyway terrific fun seeing us do that to Wales and Gatland. Felt they were only in it when we were down to 14.

Red card is harsh as f**k. If that's denying a goalscoring opportunity- there is a player behind who blocks it.

Given Goodwin went Saints to Aberdeen and it ended badly I can't see Cormack doing the same for Robinson.

Honestly Cormack would be mad to go after the Saints manager after Goodwin. Their fans want a big name, or at least someone outside of Scotland.

The best option would be to abolish them as the default restart method for knock-ons. On a horrible wet day where teams are dropping it all over the place, you also tend to find scrums slip and it's just horrible. Tap would be a better option.

I did think we didn't seem to change it in midfield much today. I'd have liked to see us perhaps push Gogic into midfield for the last 10 or so.

Can't complain. Not much in the game but we didn't get enough of the ball. The weather was a bit rubbish too. Looked a bit tired from Wednesday night. Youan was best player on the park and deserved his goal.

I’m sure it will all turn to shit eventually no matter the manager, it usually does with clubs our size. Just going to enjoy the moment.
