Sadie is wide awake and careering about, which if it wasn't 2am I'd be delighted about. Was straight back to playing with Shadow last night so no fear there. Shadow slept by her crate the night before. Shug's just Shug, looking at these pure breeds thinking f**k that, inbred Muppets.

Home just after 3 and straight to the food bowl. Really impressed by Vets Now, the staff were lovely. A lady was clearly paying for her dead dog and they took her into a treatment room to pay bill rather than stand in reception. The bill was significantly less than worst case scenario of £7-9k. For emergency care including an inpatient stay it wasn't bad and well under the £5k max insurance for year. Also they were saying Animal Friends are notorious for deductions and internal limits for blood tests, medication etc so might just be worth double checking your policies. Shadow spent last night asleep by pups create and is happier now Sadie is home.

I was on my own but I still roasted off a rib of beef, pre prepped roast potatoes with a did goose fat added, pigs in blankets, gravy, bread sauce and red cabbage. All again later with leftovers but a chicken roasted for the girls. Pears in homemade fudge sauce (easy recipie and banging with ice cream!)

My neighbours have been playing heavy bass music or singing karaoke, badly, all night.

In my 90min sat in vet a&e yesterday there were two labs and a retriever in for eating something the shouldnt!

Sadie was out cold so we just lifted them out quickly to do a "how tiny is dog" photo!
