As I understand things, this is effectively the sum of money which each club has already received from the SPFL in tranches, over the course of the current season. It's the balance remaining due to each club based on their respective final league positions, that clubs would like payment of. I think this is why the Forfar Chairman said on Saturday that they are only due circa £3,700.

We've probably crossed swords in the past, but I want to wish you the speediest possible recovery. Hope your family stay safe and healthy too.

The only silver lining I can find, is that fortunately we have just the one player contracted for next season. I'm just waiting for the club to announce what financial help they require from the fans and how that is to be co-ordinated. I've already budgeted for what I would spend on the eight remaining league games, so as far as I'm concerned they can have every penny of that right now.

Can't wait for you or ewan_fife to pronounce the last rites on the next club.
