  1. My own club, unfortunately, has sailed far too close to the wind at times. At the time of our second admin, under the reign of Massone, there was a very real fear and more importantly a very real acknowledgment of the fact that the club could die. Within around a minute of the documentary starting last night, Sammy had stated that his club were "too big to die". I'm not for one minute going to decry anyone for loving their club, but it is that stinking attitude that appears to be all too prevalent within their support, which means they get f**k all sympathy from me.
  2. f**k me, he squirmed his way through the EBT question did he not? Did Paul Murray really just say that the board acted in a proper fashion?
  3. As has been mentioned before, cracking soundtrack. The Who, Big Country, and the magnificent opening of Elbow's The Fix when talking to Andrew Ellis. How apt!
  4. The Daily Records lead story tomorrow will still be surrounding which player they'll sign, if the transfer embargo was to be overturned. Nothing to see here, shuffle on. I'm not usually one for hyperbole etc, but surely the time has now come for there to be a totally independent inquiry into what must be one of the most shameful football episodes, Europe-wide. Either that, or just kill the fuckers. Bullet, square between the eyes.
  5. Was speaking to a Rangers supporting chum of mine tonight, he absolutely hates chatting with me about the Rangers saga - tonight after he kind of agreed that Rangers needed to be punished for treating the public purse like a weans fucking piggy bank, I then said to him that the shitstorm would really start when the investigation into the double contracts concluded. His answer to that - "double contracts? What? What's that aboot?" It goes without saying I suppose, but he is an avid reader of the Daily Record. If it's not in there, it's not worth knowing. He said tonight that Green was "saying all the right things". A few weeks ago, when Bill Ng was casting his memory back to that glorious day in 1972, he said "this guy Ng is saying all the right things". God love him, he's a great guy and all, but when it comes to football, Rangers in particular - he's fluent in fucking moron.
  6. Yaaas! Sproule on as well, could be an interesting second half!
  7. I don't see a lot of Hibs, is this LB the usual starter? He's absolutely shocking. That's awesome defending from McPake, but by Christ Hearts are rampant.
  8. Ooooft, O'Connor should be doing better there!
  9. Game over, surely. This could be any score.
  10. It is, aye - the gymnastic nonsense is on BBC2?
  11. Hibs are all over the place at set pieces.
  12. Black could easily have walked - Griffiths checking for loose teeth! BBC all the way for me - shite picture, but no Ian Crocker.
  13. Out of 100??!! Here's me thinking it was 1000! They're definitely generous then!
  14. You're being rather generous with some of those values. Some = the bottom 3.
  15. Aye, and as HawHaw suggested earlier, it should go straight into the CVA pot.
  16. Think someone tweeted earlier that they are still allowed to extend contracts. You know, like the ones that they gave to McGregor, Whittaker et al that they couldn't afford in the first place.
  17. A very pertinent point sir! Like f**k will it happen, but pertinent nonetheless!
  18. Mark Daly now tweeting additional details about his documentary - to be titled Rangers: The Men Who Sold The Jerseys. Talk about coincidences............................!!
  19. Ewan murray of the Guardian, BBC's Chris McLaughlin, Skys Luke Shanley - all tweeting that the appeal has been rejected.
  20. Same here, although the nightmare happened yesterday - my Sky box packed in so I now can't pause, rewind OR record, and everything on the planner wiped. Furious! Mind you, even though I wouldn't be able to record it for posterity - hope the liquidation hammer comes doon whilst Jum White is on SSN!
