  1. Livi 2 - Thistle 1 You know it makes sense...…………………..
  2. Not quite what you asked for but probably McGarvey ( http://www.stmirren.info/id406.html ) it's got season by season details so you could probably work it out. 3. No white smoke emerging from Cappielow yet? The longer this goes on the more you’d have to reckon they’re waiting on Hopkin………………………….
  4. Ireland following on are currently 35 runs behind with 5 wickets left. You would expect Pakistan to win comfortably but most of the runs in this Test have been scored in the afternoon and evening sessions, if Ireland could get ahead and leave Pakistan to bat on the fifth morning - unlikely, but who knows? ****************** Close of Play - Ireland 319/7 (139 ahead) Terrific Test match - betting was suspended temporarily yesterday when Ireland were 9/4 (the score not the odds!). Maybe Ireland have batted too well as they will continue their Innings in the morning, when conditions have favoured the bowlers so far. ************************ Pakistan win by 5 wickets - not quite enough runs on the board for Ireland once the early morning zip had worn off!
  5. Never thought I’d be saying this but Mon the Livi!
  6. The latest from the Strong & Stable party.................
  7. Managers have a shelf-life and while this season was poor rather than disastrous for Morton it was time to go for Duffy.
  8. Take away our two games with them and that average will be down to 1684 - happy to help!
  9. Thanks for helping out a lazy bastard!
  10. Oooffffft! Brutal but thanks to all the guys! Clearly Jack Ross is the man with a plan!
  11. Yeah that's where I was going - will he stay if you're not promoted (if the Morten job is still available)?
  12. How many of May’s original Cabinet are left?
  13. No I reckon he'll start the season with us but when the first managerial casualties happen in the Autumn he may get an offer too good to turn down. My hope is that when the time comes Jamie Fowler will prefer another go as top dog than to follow JR.
  14. I reckon JR was given the award for results over a season and a bit (tick-tock ) but in a way I feel slightly insulted as I don't reckon its such a big achievement, we’ve done it three times in the last two decades and TH & double winning GM didn't even get nominated IIRC. I reckon its a bit of an insult to Saints as the voters obviously see us as a diddy club. Anyway I’ll finish where I should probably have started - Congratulations to Jack Ross (& Jamie Fowler)!
  15. What I would find disappointing, if I were a Morton fan, is that three times in the last decade (or so) when the club had momentum its been squandered. You’re certainly in the doldrums at present and have to hope that when the next surge comes along you can fully capitalize on it.
  16. I wish I shared your confidence, when the next Independence referendum does come round I expect it to be "no holds barred" from the No side.
