DPD I'm waiting on a thing to be delivered/picked up. Got a text this morning to say they'd be here between 12:35 and 1:35. At 1:28 I got a text/email saying they'd missed me and will be back tomorrow. At about 1:22 a DPD van drove down the street and past my tenement. On the webpage for the delivery there's a picture of the front door and a fence and car in front of it, this being the only car in front of the fence and there being a gap in the fence about ten feet to the left of where the picture was taken. Will it be bad form if the same guy turns up tomorrow, actually makes it that extra ten feet, and I call him a lazy c**t?

Meanwhile, in Canada: Western University mandating COVID-19 booster shots, masking ahead of fall term | CBC News Western University is implementing vaccine and masking requirements this September for students, faculty, staff and some visitors. The London, Ont., university is requiring those returning to campus to be vaccinated for COVID-19 twice with an additional booster. There is also a mask mandate in place in classrooms and seminar rooms for the first five weeks of class followed by a reassessment. "Considering that the general population is at 50 per cent in terms of their booster shot, we think it's not too much of an effort to get where we want to get," said Florentine Strzelczyk, provost and vice-president (academic). The policy takes effect as of Monday, however the campus community has until October 1 to submit current proof of vaccination to the university. "COVID is expected to spiral of course, as we all know. We don't know when that is going to happen. We want to ensure we have a safe return to campus because unlike other institutions, our in-person experience is very important to us," added Strzelczyk.

One interesting observation from a cursory skim of conspiracy twitter - the people certain covid and vaccinations are a scam/a plot/ungodly all seem quite happy to discuss the alternative medicines they take to treat/prevent covid. Presumably they get these drugs from a spirited, free thinking independent source rather than the big pharma they blame for the rest of the world's ills.

Since I've been asked to fill in for steve (who shouldn't have been banned imo and not just because I'm now doing this) Lots of calls for arrests from these punters, but I don't know who's going to be doing the arresting if the police and governments are part of world population control.
