  1. He's been a tremendous loan signing. Started well enough, but has improved significantly with game time. Was sensational in February and even eclipsed Bobby Goals (TM) that month ; good chance he'll win SPFL divisional IMO.
  2. Wasn't at the game, but based on your narrative Cawley must have been guilty of foul or abusive language (I think is the Laws wording these days, used to be foul AND abusive language). As @Kevchenko says, very unlike Kev and I agree he will be gutted. I may be wrong, but I think that's his only red in the 400+ games he's played for Alloa. Good to hear Andy is OK. Certainly looks like the two from three battle for a play off place between ourselves and Cove is hoping to be an exciting and, likely, tight one. Pleased for young Sutherland getting off the mark. Steven and Wales continuing their February goalscoring form into March.
  3. Are you saying that the red card was a result of two yellows being issued to Cawley? Or was it a straight red?
  4. Is he donating his kidneys?
  5. Certainly deserved for Kurtis. Yeah, pleased to see Jay get in as well. He was working out at my gym this morning, along with his brother. Have seen him there several times.
  6. You new to P&B, m8? There's not many Andy Graham's going about though. No one at Alloa, or I suspect most of the club's he's played, for was surprised Andy was appointed when Chipper left. Further no one is surprised he's had a positive effect on performances (results were actually already OK, but have certainly improved). Whether that continues long term remains to be seen (I think he'll go on to prove himself a good manager). E.g. it should be noted the players we have are Rice's signing/retainers - something he was very good at IMO. (I expect Andy G to be good at that too, but we can't be certain.)
  7. He didn't change his mind, Chipper did. He released Robbo then went back to him with a contract offer. Jon loves the club and didn't want to leave. It's only recently he's got back to fitness. Yes, he had an op, but there were other fitness issues after that. I'm sure he's still got a lot to offer the club.
  8. You're a star, m8. Roll on 10pm to see Kurtis's and Robbo's goals.
  9. I'm not sure that's right. Accies have a lot of good players, certainly better than league one standard. They played a lot of decent football today and at times it was our spirit and defending as a team that kept them out. They clearly lack confidence, but that can change quickly with the right man in charge. I'm not saying they could match Falkirk; there's still a gulf there even with a manager who could get more out of the players.
  10. Agree with your points, Waspie. I thought Robbo and Kurtis were excellent second half as a pair. Really delighted for them getting a goal each. What a strike from Kurtis! Robbo is such a class act, he gave us that precious few seconds at times on the ball and then played the right pass. Yeah, Devine involved a big plus. It's a pity he has injury problems - otherwise a quality defender. As with Waspie, find myself in agreement with the rest of your post, Kevchenko, including Accies being less than the sum of their parts. Really good footballers throughout the side, with loads of attacking ability, but something is lacking and that appears to be down to the manager. Terrific afternoon, the second half and goals a real delight.
  11. I thought Taylor might have got player of the week, but easier to go for Anton Dowds and his hatrick. His Dad is an old friend of mine, so I was pleased for him too. Also, well done to Ross McIver who apparently was excellent in Falkirk's big win v Hamilton (not sure anyone else will have noted that win ). Ross has really thrived at Falkirk - their system and the role he is expected to play suits him down to the ground.
  12. Right, so we are going to beat you away by one more goal than a flying Falkirk managed at home? Seems reasonable. ETA Actually we do have Bobby Goals (copyright @Kevchenko ) and Taylor (copyright pending), so 1-3 seems fair. ☺
  13. "The Kilmarnock player they have"? "the Kilmarnock player they have"? That's Bobby Goals you're referring to!
  14. And fair play to you. If you are going to win things IMO you need a bit of hardness/cynicism at times.
