  1. I'm all for equal rights, Well done Nic, I say let's restart the burn our bras campaign, that'll show 'em! Grimbo Ps. I'm burning mine (metaphorically speaking of course) right on sisters.
  2. Off to this wee shindig PAC 3rd Anniversary with TV Smith 14 January at 20:00 The Forts Arms, BB5 5TA Clayton Le Moor, Blackburn With Darwen, United Kingdom Grimbo
  3. Is there anywhere open in Bo'nessbo tho To spend any dosho Whether real or fakeo? Sorry I'm still pishedo. Grimbo
  4. This thread is turning to a Monty pythonesque life of Brian trail follower. Just takes 1 rake up of the old forged notes joke & it ends up getting more followers than justin briber. (Following the bank note theme, like the change in my pocket, loosely). Are we SPENDING too much on this thread? £rimbo
  5. Would the badge be sufficient evidence? Grimboera
  6. Jimbo are you telling me you've never been for an Oscar in Swansea or Llandudno? Some folk haven't lived. I'm thinking of organizing a chara trip down to Pwllheli for an Oscar weekend, £500 & you're in. Grimbo
  7. Cheers Mozza we hate it when our friends become successful. Grimbo
  8. Some one remind me if this is the gods gospel forum or the nonsense forum? Muppets Grimbo
  9. It was 2 £6's ffs is that really you Spunkers? Grimbo. Ps who are all these muppets that have never heard that joke before?
  10. A "friend" of mine was into a bit of blue Peter money making & had a printing set up in his garage. He was doing some £10 & £20 pound notes but there was some sort of cock-up with the printing equipment & he ended up with £500 worth of £12 pound notes. He was gonna bin them until our mate Spunkera said he was off over to Ireland for an Oscar Wilde weekend & he said for a small cut he'd take 'em & exchange them. Imagine his surprise when the 1st shop Spunkers goes in & asks if the shopkeeper if he's got change for a £12 pound note & the shopkeeper asks if he wants 3 £4 pound notes or 4 £3 pound notes? Might have been Wales now I come to think of it? Grimbo
  11. SLF at liquid room, Edinburgh tonight. Grimbo
  12. The arse of a bouncer at liquid room last Saturday, we got there at 7, so I asked what time is Hazel O'Connor on & he said about 8.30, happy days me thought, bow bar here we come, 3 pints later & go back to the club. I ask is she on yet, he says you've missed her, I says but when I asked you before you told me 8.30? Apparently he never said that, anyway we got in to see the full Cornwell show & me missus who is a big Hazel fan got to see H in the encore singing with Shuggy doing Hanging Around. Fortunately we are off to Manc this weekend to visit the family & guess who's playing the Academy? Will be in early doors this time. Grimbo
  13. Off to see High Cornwell with Hazel O'Connor support, at the Liquid Rooms, Edinburgh after the Cup match Tomorrow, fan dabby. Grimbo
  14. George got another call up to the 1st team yesterday & came on late on, he looks the part, let's hope we can keep him at ours, he's the sort of player that will develop more & be right for us next season & hopefully at an higher level. Grimbo
  15. Watch out for our lad George Hunter who we bought pre-season, mind you 1 player does not a team make, but he's worth the fiver admission of anyones money. Grimbo
  16. Do they all pay subs? How much do you know about the Jags & Spartans U20's again mr Hat?? Grimbo.
  17. A couple of points. If we cannot afford to develop U20's footballers in a professional way then we will perpetuate the way the game is at the top of the pyramid. There is a cheaper option & that is at the start of the season to splash out £50 on a Spartans season ticket, which are valid for these games it's also valid for the EoS & the Spartans Women's league games. Oh & the Lowland League Champions games all in the plush surroundings of Ainslie Park. Grimbo
  18. What price would folk put on developing under 20's players? Grimbo.
  19. Good to see they are putting my taxes to good use. Grimbo
  20. That was some strike by the student to gift themselves a point at the end. Well worth the taxes. Not had chance to look at the footage last night it got a bit murky come the end so not sure how clear it'll be. We should have been home clean & dry but failed to capitalize in the Capital. Managed to avoid the City score until on my way out, thanks Connor. So like the weather I went back to the dark side in a dark place. Grimbo
  21. How nice for them to get the League Champions to be the 1st team to play on their wonderful new pitch, clever ploy from our old feeder team. Ex-Spartan (once a Spartan always a Spartan) Dan Gerrard is busy helping them out I believe, great player & a top bloke. I'm sure we'll see a lot of familar faces in the crowd that night, "stars" on Wednesday night League Champions TV eh? Got my 1st glimpse of Tommo on Saturday, not sure he saw me with his Eddy Davids specs on like. It will be momentous on many levels, not just a classic game of quality football, it's also the Independence eve, I've heardly slept for the past week, come Wednesday night I'll be going off like a rocket. Mega. See yous all down the Students Nou Camping ground! Fancy Dress not-optional. Be there, be proud, come on out that night, YES it'll be a beano. Grimbo
  22. Marston's Pedigree £1.25 a bottle (500ml) 4.5% it's got some twat playing bat & ball on the label but don't let that put you off - she's defrosting the freezer so the fridge is off too, so it's a nice room temperature. Grimbo
  23. If this was a football game, most of the play would have been in midfield so far, ok the odd slip-up & near own goal here & there. The real action will be in the last 10 minutes = July/August with September being the time added on, when we will have a next goal wins & let's not hope it's an own goal from either side? A good clean game, my arse! Mon the Yessers. Next year we could be playing in Europe (oh christ). Grimbo
