  1. Im absolutely scunnered with our board at the moment. This seasons season ticket will be my last. I can put up with shite on the park but Richies constant cock sucking of all things Sevco has left me 'with a bad taste in my mouth' (although probably not as bad a taste as Richie has in his mouth) Ill continue to go and watch us but he can forget me ever buying a season ticket again ( I work away from home and only bought one as it helped the club out, I will not line that f**kers pocket any more than I have to from now on)
  2. Shanghai Masters starts tomorrow Not on BBC red button though
  3. I was at that game and remember laughing. The Falkirk fans who complained must've been precious little p***ks. Most of us were laughing.
  4. I did around 3 hours of off-road cycling on Tuesday and another 3 hours today. Due to it being off-road I don't cover anywhere near the distances many folk on here do. For the last 45 minutes on Tuesday the heavens opened and we got SOAKED. It was great Anyway for anyone from the Falkirk area who doest know, Callendar Estate has some terrific new Cycle paths. Not very challenging but great fun and if you include them in your cycle they can give you a decent fun workout. Info can be found here for anyone interested http://www.callendarestate.co.uk/
  5. I didnt vote for either but I like both. I voted for the other one (that wasnt half and half)
  6. It was f**king hideous then and its hideous now. Awful awful strip.
  7. It's like they have no pro active thinking or contingency. Which for a business like the SFL/SFA seems utterly ridiculous.
  8. It just seems to me that they're backing themselves into a corner. If the Sevco situation falls through they will have to go through the application process, which will take time. If they already have the applications in and reviewed it could be a relatively easy fix. It also might put THE FEAR into Green etc. as they'll realise that Sevco aren't the only option for the SFL.
  9. Shouldn't the SFL be making it known to other interested parties that a space might be available soon? If the Sevco issue goes tits up surely it would be better to already have applications from interested clubs to allow them in last minute if reqd.
  10. Damn phone. I think that due to Higgys early form I don't want to get my hopes up. But to be fair the young team seemed to help higgy with their movement (coupled with being played in the right role) so hopefully Haworth can express himself this season. He certainly seems to have the right attributes. Difficult to tell in friendlies though.
  11. I've been very impressed with Haworth. Got bags of ability. Hopefully he can turn it on when it matters.
  12. How did Taylor play? Only watched him v Hearts and Boro. Looked sharp.
  13. How did we get on tonight?. Missed it due to work.
  14. I apologise for the selective quote but I'm on my phone, drunk and stuck in an Aberdeen hotel. Just because a potential Yes vote (and I appreciate that's all it is at the moment) didn't make a difference. Morally it is almost irrelevant. IF we voted yes. It changes nothing just because other teams had the balls to vote correctly. The board shouldn't be given leaway (sp?) due to others voting correctly.
  15. I appreciate where you are coming from, I really do. To flip it around though, why shouldn't fans care. Should the board be completely unaccountable to the fans in their decisions? Should fans accept what the board says no matter what? It's not an easy one but surely it matters (although I appreciate how much it matters is debatable and down to personal opinion)
  16. Whilst I agree with you in principle. Many of the other clubs accused of voting yes have come out with a statement. The fact that Falkirk haven't said anything (coupled with the ambiguous statements prior to the vote) has a lot of fans worried (rightly or wrongly).
  17. It was more a reaction to the silence from the club rather than the email, but it hindsight it was probably a little harsh
  18. I see what you mean.I was more meaning the promises of reform and threat of SPL2 as a bribe/bully tactic for the vote. Which is fair enough. Doesn't mean everyone feels exactly the same way though.
  19. I cant. Not at all. Any promises of reform etc. were clearly empty.
  20. You may not see the importance of it but people who do shouldn't be criticised for it. If fans feel strongly about it because its important to them then they are more than entitled to post about it (especially in a Falkirk Thread of all places)
  21. I don't have any doubt. The Falkirk of last season were much quicker to close players down as a team and put a foot in. Yesterday was played as an exhibition match with very little tackling at all. I'm not overly worried to be honest. They are miles ahead of anyone in our division, absolutely miles ahead. I think we also missed Dods badly yesterday. He wouldnt have allowed the gaps to appear between the CHs and woudl have ensured that simple balls over the top wouldn't have caused us that much bother.
