  1. Hester looked like he was carrying an injury last night and didn't really get going. We are far too reliant on him leading the line which is a worry if he isn't able to raise his game for one reason or another.
  2. Thoughts from last night's game? I thought we played well, Hoban maybe saved our arses a bit but worth the win over the course of the game. Now, where is that striker?
  3. Heard a few teuchters up here use the word "jeepers" which bothers me quite a lot
  4. Waiting for the heat to die down a bit before I buy tickets for his Inverness gig
  5. Good to see the Forfar massive are taking it well
  6. My oldest son was finally diagnosed in April with ASD and DCD after 4 years on the waiting list to get an appointment with the CAMHS team in the Highlands. Feel like we're catching up rapidly after having to wait for so long but that's just a sign of how disjointed the NHS can be. It is honestly really reassuring to come to this thread and read about some of the behaviours that my wife and I have struggled with since he was born, particularly around diets and coordination. Felt like a shite parent at times being unable to understand his challenges and the diagnosis has opened up a lot of the support networks and resources that are out there. That shite is always really impersonal so coming on here and reading stories from folk I at least vaguely have something in common with is really useful.
  7. My mother in law sets the table with my knife and fork the other way round, a truly remarkable woman
  8. How did we play last night? Dundee Utd's squad had a few recognisable names in it so by all accounts a win is decent.
  9. So someone sent Nigel Farage money so he could say "Mo Lester"? The FBPEs are at it again
  10. No signing news, no positivity. Talk of playing a centre half up front. General doom and gloom in the fanbase. 4-1 Elgin. f**k it. Might as well crack on with blind optimism
  11. If playing Darryl mchardy up front is our best option after a whole summer to bring in some players then we may as well call it a day now.
  12. 4 goals absolutely flattered St Johnstone tonight. What Davidson sees in that defence is beyond me, I think I had more pace in my donder to the pie hut. Cracking game though!
  13. Chuffed with our performance tonight, we were the better team in the first half and was hoping for more of the same but the second goal killed the contest there and then. If Hester was on top form it would have been a totally different game. We lost our shape when Cairns came off and I can only assume Mcinnes is not a natural full back as he looked lost when he came on. Still, credit to the team for keeping going, we had their centre backs blowing out their arse towards the end. I dreamt of nicking a draw tonight but we definitely didn't disgrace ourselves and 4 goals absolutely flattered St Johnstone.
  14. Aye, bit baffled by how lightweight we were up front to have...gone for more of the same again this season. Hopefully there's something in the pipeline that we aren't being told about.
  15. I usually stock up in the big Tesco in Perth but not sure how helpful that is.
  16. Used it for Green Day a couple of weeks ago there, no complaints whatsoever.
  17. Chris Antoniazzi signs on a 2 year deal. Great addition to the squad.
  18. Aye, would have loved to be there but I've been struck down with covid. A great player that has stuck by the club through thick and thin, and one of the soundest guys you'll ever meet.
  19. Got punted from higher physics a week into fifth year so spent 4 periods a week in the library with the rest of the no hopers. Spent most of it on fitba message boards, which was very useful to my education. The librarian was a good c**t.
  20. Getting pished all day and listening to live music is class, you bunch of bores.
  21. "vaccines have killed millions" is a true return to form for this dying thread
