  1. I wonder if the Livi game finally tipped the board, or the reaction on the forums? Or was it the lack of a contract for McGurn that did it?
  2. You'd still have to get rid of the slow players in the team - Conroy, Fox, Nade, Scott, Hill, Elliot and Thomson. Also, the team as a whole is a lazy one - the exact opposite of Livingston. When was the last time you saw Rovers work hard to close a team down the way Livingston did yesterday? Rovers always take the easy option and retreat. When was the last time you saw them pass and move into space to get a one touch pass? In fact when did we last see a one touch pass? The simple truth is that Rovers are painful to watch. I can't wait for the board's reaction to the McGurn problem but if they don't come out with something before the Press comes out on Thursday we'll know something's up. It's taken me long enough but I'm now in the Murray out camp.
  3. According to this article in the Courier Rovers have around half of their squad out of contract this summer but it's going to be a waiting game for new faces.
  4. Have you taken this up with the club? If so, what was their reply? I'm assuming that you fall into one of the groups you mention.
  5. It's difficult to find any reliable info on players' contracts but this website indicates that only Lewis Vaughan will be under contract next season and that every other player is free to go after 31st May. Time will tell if it's true.
  6. Elliot would be first out the door for me. Hated his diving antics and constant moaning at the ref.
  7. As previously stated I think we have to be very careful about the type of player we bring in. McCord is one-paced and would solve none of the problems we've had for several years. He's a Fox, Walker, Davidson type of player - slow. Keaghan Jacobs on the other hand....
  8. Agreed, just so long as the ones coming in have got a bit more pace than the ones leaving. That's been a major weakness all season long.
  9. That is such a fitting description of Dunfermline. Think I'll have it as my signature for a while.
  10. I think we were obliged to honour his contract for the last year even though he was no longer at the club. Something like that.
