Things that annoy or delight you on the telly right now
stevieKTID replied to welshbairn's topic in TV and Film Forum
How to with John Wilson, I'm feeling a bit under the weather so here's a brief description stolen from an online review -Each week Wilson takes an idea or prompt and tells a story in voiceover, using an extraordinary collage of footage taken from the streets of New York City. -
Some of the things he did playing for Ajax were amazing, be interesting to see how he does.
-
I also like Antwerp, lovely city, when I lived in the centre of Amsterdam I'd go to Antwerp for the day during the yearly Queens/Kings day celebrations to avoid the madness.

Central Toast Mariners FC -
My big mate Buster is still in town, the owners work transfer to London happened so quickly that they discovered a few days before departure that his rabies booster wasn't up to date so he's at our dog hotel for a few weeks until he gets the green light, I've been round every day this week to see him. Also staying at the hotel is my little buddy Max who has been out of action for a while due to a hernia operation he's back to normal and begging for treats like crazy, bloody great seeing them. Dogs eh

The guys doing the interview we're giggling afterwards, "he was angry eh?no windows smashed, the bus was a bit late what's the problem" was their take on it -
Rangers' Wee Spot in Europe - Season 2023/24

Van Bronckhorst raging on Dutch TV because the team bus was delayed getting into the stadium because of PSV fans welcome outside the ground. Wat jammer. -
I'm tipping 20% across the board from now on just to be on the safe side.

It was definitely @WATTOO that gone done shot him
-
The story is always popping up on the BBC news website, it's weird seeing the face of a guy I went to school with staring back at me especially since he was murdered and it's still unsolved.
-
Hope she never answered the front door for him. There might be the potential for a 6 degrees of separation p&b murder thread, if one does appear I'd just like to say I have an alibi for the night in question.
-
Don't know any murderers but went to school with the bank manager that was shot dead on his doorstep in Nairn.

County vs Killie, 20/08/22

Have to agree with John Barnes "if that had been Alan Power it would've been a certain red card" -
What is the most important position?
stevieKTID replied to Sortmeout's topic in Scottish Premiership General Chatter
From a Killie perspective looking back at the last 4 or 5 seasons I'd say a decent keeper makes all the difference. We've had some good ones like Bachmann and Hemming, we've also had some utter donkeys like Branescu, Rogers and Doyle. -

Tomorrow I'll walk my big mate Buster, the world's most handsome dog, for the last time, his folks are relocating to London (which for the life of me I can't understand I lived in London years ago and didn't like it at all, obviously it's their decision and it's due to work commitments but swapping Amsterdam for London will be a massive change for them) I'm going to miss him big time it's been an absolute pleasure to walk with him, I know that around 2pm tomorrow I'll be sitting on a park bench on the verge of tears - I'm a sentimental fool when it comes to saying goodbye to my regular dogs, I've already put my sunglasses in my backpack to hide my tears, hope it's sunny tomorrow. Bow wow big boy bow wow Dogs eh

Think it must've been binned, it was certainly headed that way. -
Off The Ball - Is it good?
stevieKTID replied to Buddist Monk's topic in Scottish Premiership General Chatter
Did bullet holes appear on the graphic? Or is my memory playing tricks on me? Either way I preferred the wee guy hanging up the scores on the old score board to the digital version which only worked properly for a few seasons. -

That brought back memories of the johnnie walker scoreboard at Rugby Park -
Fwiw Arabs you're getting some nice praise in the local press over here, there was a large gathering of United fans in the Nieuwmarkt area and all the locals were impressed by how you conducted yourselves and that you cleared up all your rubbish afterwards, the result might not have been great but you've made a positive impression. https://www.at5.nl/artikelen/216356/supporters-voetbalclub-dundee-bouwen-feestje-op-de-nieuwmarkt-en-ruimen-zelf-de-troep-op

Head across the river and go for an evening wander through the district of Trastevere, beautiful little cobbled streets, plenty of places to grab a drink and watch the world go by.
