  1. Saw that the other day, my takeaways from it were how far the Chiefs were ahead of the rest of their division compared to every other division, and that New York as a football city sucks.
  2. Tomorrow's singles pairings.
  3. Ref was hellish quick to call a halt there.
  4. The Saffer full back made a right arse of that.
  5. Ridiculously bad kicking by the Saffers, 8 points left off the board in the last 10 minutes.
  6. All the more reason for players to avoid needless extra walks back to tees that they aren't hitting off then. It appears to be an absolute shambles on site, saw a lot of tweets last night that it's not a good course for viewing and that they had run out of food and water early in the day. One reporter said it looked like they had sold 100k tickets but had only catered for 10k, even the VIP area had been oversold and folk were having to sit in the floor and the stairs. A repeat of yesterday's fourball score would be just fine this afternoon, woukd set it up lovely for tomorrow.
  7. That could be a huge moment with the bottom match coming back to win the 17th and clinch it with a birdie on 18, means the session finishes 2-2 and it's as you were heading into the 4 balls.
  8. So are we looking for a Saffers win, along with no bonus points and multiple red cards and injuries for Ireland tonight then?
  9. Europe started well this morning, but the early bits of blue have all but disappeared off the leaderboard. Hall and Boutier look done already, 3 down thru 7. Going along at a snail's pace too.
  10. Think you need to add the context that they qualified 2nd and 3rd though, good performance from both of them.
  11. Wee bit unfortunate to lose, best performance for a while.
  12. Have to agree, felt Bob is too streaky for foursomes and would leave his partner in trouble too often. I fear he'll only get two games now, unless he plays really well on Friday and gets a second crack at the fourballs on Saturday. I know he has given his reasons, but I was very surprised that he chose to play, I would have thought the more experienced guys would have been telling him to have a week off and chill. He's just put himself under even more pressure by playing so badly, today especially.
  13. Surrey look certain to win back to back county championships after Essex lost at Chelmsford to Hampshire while Surrey drew with Northants at The Oval. Surrey have an almost insurmountable 20 point lead over Essex going into the last game.

    Week 3

A few points from the 49ers win. They scored 30 or more points for the 6th straight regular season game, tying the best any team has managed over the last 10 years. McCaffrey scored a TD for the 10th straight game, equalling Jerry Rice's franchise record. I was a bit worried about Robbie Gould being let go, and there was a bit of stick about using a 3rd round pick on a kicker, but Jake Moody is 9/9 on PATs and 9/9 on FGs thru the first 3 games.
  15. Which it is, good recovery after a disastrous morning. Charley Hull not being fully fit is a big blow, she would have been expecting to play 4 or 5 matches.
  16. First match was halved, was just about to post how Maguire and Hall had made a hash of the last, then Maguire chipped in for a four. Thompson then shanked her chip for a 3.
  17. And right after I post USA win a couple of holes to swing it back their way a bit.
  18. Ciganda almost makes an ace too, massive momentum swing towards Europe in the last half hour.
  19. Cracking 2 by Dryburgh to get back to all square.
  20. Dryburgh and Sagstrom win a hole with a bogey to get back to 1 down.

    Week 3

Certainly improvements to be made on offense, but even not fully firing they got 30 points on the board. Some daft penalties too, most of the yards on the Giants TD drive came from two penalties.
