  1. This handsome boy has been adopted as our workshop cat. He had been kicking around the yard for months, and there aren't any houses that close to us. One of the other guys started feeding him and he is now here all the time. He has definitely been somebody's pet though as he is very tame and loves to be petted. The hope is that we can get him settled enough that we can take him to the vet to find out if he is chipped.
  2. Any idea when the fixtures and results will be available on all the individual club pages?
  3. Blowing a hoolie at Fairmont, tough slog for the afternoon starters. Weather warning for lightning in place for tomorrow.
  4. He was tactically superb through all 4 races, especially in the last one when he had the gold just about sewn up early on. Only way he was losing after gaining a lap was if he crashed or had a mechanical.
  5. Given how things are going covid wise in Australia just now I'll be surprised if it goes ahead. Which might not be a bad thing for England.
  6. 138-3 to 160-9. Even by English standards that's a horrendous collapse.
  7. They haven't been great for a while, but are still up there as England's highest test scorers this year. Root 942 and counting, average 58.37 Lawrence 329, average 29.9 Sibley 317, average 21.13 Burns 296, average 32.88. Nobody else has scored over 200 total runs. Dismal averages tbf, but as you say, who can come in and do better? Hameed the only other option I can see at the moment.
  8. Bairstow lbw for 29 just before tea, 138-4. All on Root to hold this together as usual.
  9. I'm 50 so couldn't give a shiny shite about what other people think about my footwear. I have Sketcher's shoes, trainers and golf shoes. All of them feel like wearing carpet slippers. The golf shoes are the most comfortable I've ever had.
  10. He'll certainly keep moving up the all time list, but he's not even halfway to Tendulkar's 34000 odd. He is only 30 so there's a good chance he could get into the top 10 before he is done.
  11. I'll be surprised if somewhere like Dumbarnie doesn't throw everything at trying to get it, but I think the Renaissance has another year to go.
  12. As if pulling up injured wasn't bad enough, she was then DQ'd from the 200m for leaving her lane.
  13. Sky Brown wins the bronze medal in the skateboarding Park. Dropped the same trick twice in her first two runs but nailed it in her final attempt. Two of the medallists are 12 and 13.
  14. Great start for KJT in the heptathlon, running 13.27 for the 100m hurdles and picking up some points on her two main rivals Oosterwegel and Thiam.
  15. Huge news for the Scottish Open as it will be a PGA Tour event from next year. https://bunkered.co.uk/golf-news/scottish-open-to-become-pga-tour-event-and-get-new-sponsor
  16. Minor League Baseball is now the place for the best team names.
  17. Fair play to Alex Bell, she wasn't originally picked and only got in after Laura Muir dropped out to concentrate on the 1500m. Bell certainly took her opportunity by making the final and running a PB.
  18. 6 personal bests in the final, including all 3 GB runners.
  19. Silver for Hodgkinson, Reekie tying up at the end and beat on the line for bronze, ran a PB though. National record for Hodgkinson.
