It's a 2 ball for Bob today after John Daly withdraws with a thumb injury. Hopefully the inevitable waiting around doesn't put him off. If my sums are right he doesn't tee off no until 8.17 pm, so might be a struggle to get finished tonight.

One of the reasons that they got finals was because they had a really good committee who made sure everything was spot on, pitch was always in good nick and hospitality was first class. They now don't have a committee at all to speak of, at least going by the last few times we have played them.

McIlroy is having a day tbf.

It's as if Scheffler has somehow managed to transfer his shite putting on to him, he's been woefully short several times. It was our Open at Bishopbriggs today, I played largely shite but did can a 30 footer for a 2 on the par 3 14th to get some sweep money.

Finished with a birdie but a 1 over round of 72 sees him finish in a tie for 13th on 13 under, 9 behind the winner Chris Gotterup. Still a decent week but promised a lot more.
