  1. And you have Drumchapel Utd giving up their spot in the Strathclyde Demolition Cup, which was how they got access to the Scottish Cup via the Cup Winner's Shield a couple of years ago when they had a very successful run.
  2. We are top of the league, said we are top of the league!
  3. Adam Scott one of many big names that failed to make it through the US Open qualifiers on Monday, potentially ending a run of 91 straight majors since the 2001 Open. He lost out in a playoff to Cam Davis, but he is first alternate so still has a reasonable chance of a place in the field. Only 2 LIV players of 17 made it through, Dean Burmester and David Puig.
  4. 58 all out for Uganda with 9 of those extras.
  5. Turning in to a humping though with Uganda 28-5 in the 9th over.
  6. Been a good fightback from Uganda on their debut at this level, Afghanistan looked to be heading for well over 200, but after the first wicket fell at 154-1 in the 15th over the wickets kept falling and Afghanistan finish on 183-5.
  7. I think his schedule will now be... Week off US Open Travellers (Signature event) Rocket Mortgage Week off Scottish Open The Open And that takes him up to 21st July.
  8. And then some. Not so much on the average per year but it's a jump of 69% over the previous WR guaranteed cash.
  9. Definitely a wee break needed after 5 straight tourneys. He's now got a full calendar for June/July so can't blame him for taking some r&r.
  10. Bob currently Oban bound and having next weekend off.
  11. He's on mine just now, but with both my captain and vice captain now gone he could be further up next year's list.
  12. One thing I was thinking at the weekend was that one of the criticisms of the PGA Tour is that it isn't "global" enough. When the majority of the top Yanks won't even go to Canada then there is no chance of them expanding worldwide anytime soon.
  13. Bob going through plenty of caddies, but CT Pan had 4 during yesterday's round after the legendary Fluff Cowan slipped and fell early in the round. A fan carried the bag for one hole, before caddie services sent a replacement. Paul Barjon's regular bag man Al Riddell lives nearby and turned up to do the back 9.
  14. There must have been a couple of caddies watching last night thinking "Fuuuuuuucck!"
  15. Would have been nice to see the presentation.
