  1. Couple of clips from Gloucester and Sale, which barely got a second glance from the TMO.
  2. His first season was ruined by injuries, and I would think it's taken him the first few months of this season to get to 100% fitness and sharpness. He's been Arsenal's most consistent player in the games I've watched lately.
  3. A wee subtle change to the closing titles of chapter 16.
  4. Exactly the same thought crossed my mind when that 4th goal went in. Nothing in this squad suggests they can stop leaking goals.
  5. Nice wee brawl at the end of Gloucester v Sale sparked by the Sharks water carrier trying to grab the ball away from Billy Twelvetrees. Twelvetrees shoved him over the hoarding sparking a lot of handbags. [emoji23] Sale won 22-19.
  6. Talk on commentary today about bringing Lingard in from Man Utd on loan. As if that's going to help.
  7. Posted further up the thread that it's highly debatable if any of the signings they made actually improved the squad. Too many young players when they could have done with adding some top flight quality and experience. They looked very well organised last season, shambolic at times this season.
  8. The Saints have no backs as they are all close contacts of Kamara. Taysom Hill and Ty Montgomery expected to share ball carrying duties.
  9. Yep, pretty much standard for them to create next to nothing. Their forwards aren't the greatest, but they hardly see the ball in the area never mind get chances.
  10. Sheffield United are just incredibly naive this season, Eze ran about 70 yards pretty much unchallenged to make it 2-0 just before half time. Someone had to just haul him down and take the yellow card.
  11. Don't think any team can ever take anything for granted once you hit the playoffs, but even more so this year, as the Covid rules can mean a team could lose one or more star players in an instant.
  12. Sourav Ganguly: Former India captain stable after cardiac arrest - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cricket/55514591 Maybe he had just heard about the Indian players who appear to have breached the bubble protocols in Australia possibly putting the 3rd test in jeopardy.
  13. Impressive 49-28 win for Ohio with Justin Fields throwing for 385 yards and 6 TDs, and running back Trey Sermon going for 193 yards and a TD off of 31 carries. Bit more reaction to that mass brawl from ESPN... https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/ncaaf/2021/01/01/kirk-herbstreit-rips-mike-leach-mississippi-state-tulsa-brawl/4107409001/
  14. Although she doesn't even fit, Missy loves this box.
  15. Failing to catch that onside kick was the only mistake Smith has made all day.
  16. Bowl committee's big team found.
  17. Was just going to post about how impressive he has been in this game.
  18. Alvin Kamara on the Covid list, and could miss the first playoff game depending on the scheduling. With Goodell and the Saints having such a good relationship, what could possibly go wrong? [emoji85]
  19. Alabama 21-7 ahead at half time, Notre Dame moved the ball better just before the break but missed a FG attempt with a few seconds left. They need to find a way to stop the 'Bama offence.
  20. Fancy the Clemson v Ohio game to be a better match up, with the added interest of two of the better QBs going head to head, especially as I just watched the series of QB1 on Netflix with Justin Fields in it.
  21. Should be a few bans dished out for that, certainly a couple on either side who might find themselves with more than just the NCAA committee to answer to. I've seen a few clips of brawls this year, have there been more than normal?
  22. Good to see Richie Gray back. Saw this on Twitter....
