Don't know if Andy will get any sort of leeway to try and keep his fitness up. I heard cricketer David Malan on the radio a few weeks back, he had to do the two weeks quarantine after flying out to play in the Big Bash. Locked in your hotel room with all your meals brought to you, and his request to have a treadmill or cross trainer in his room was refused. -
Good game in the BBL at the moment, Hurricanes scored what looked like a poor 148-7, even more so when Heat's 2 openers were belting it all round the ground. First wicket fell for 73 in the 6th over, but since then the wickets have kept tumbling and it's now 105 for 6 in the 13th over.

Could be my memory playing tricks, but I seem to remember a few Americans getting their approach into the last wrong. IIRC they went past the flag to the left and it left them a horrible left to right downhill putt that was tricky to get down in two. Europeans seemed to be under the flag more often.

The third umpire's summing up didn't help to clarify his decision much... "There's no conclusive evidence to show the bat is on the wrong side of the line, so the bat looks like it could have a bit over the line. My decision is not out."

The one single shot that sticks in my mind is the huge putt that Rose holed to tie his match against Mickelson on 17, then won it on the 18th. IIRC that tied the overall scores and was a big shot in the arm to the European players still on the course.

Australia all out for 195, with India 36-1 in reply. Biggest controversy was a run out review on Tim Paine, with the third umpire giving him in on the tightest of calls. I've not seen any bat over the line in any of the replays.

Mine was definitely sarcasm. Hard to believe that having been on tour so long somebody could still make that mistake regarding Andy Murray. He looked to be moving fairly well during the latest round of inter Brit matches, hopefully gets some more decent game time in Florida. -
I know someone asked about it further up the thread, but they confirmed during commentary tonight that this is the first season ever that a game has been played on every day of the week.

Surprised they didn't go for 2 to try and get it back to a 3 point game. Very enjoyable game, especially watching Payton on the verge of spontaneously combusting at the officials, even though there have been no shockingly bad calls.

Don't know about "our" Andy Murray, but an English one has taken a wildcard to play in the Delray Beach Open, an ATP 250 tourney in Florida in January. -
