A tightening of Covid guidelines for players and coaches on the sidelines. Also a reduction in the numbers allowed to travel, reduces the amount of staff allowed to be around players and coaches, and limits post-game interactions between opposing teams.

Glasgow went behind but have responded with a good move and try by Bryce, followed by a monster penalty kick by Brandon Thomson to lead 8-7. Have they played any games this season that the weather wasn't horrendous?

Had to nip out to Tesco earlier, it was busier than I've seen it at any point since this all started. Still amazes me how many people that look as if they would fall into the vulnerable age group want to spend their time in a busy supermarket. Tbf though, it was at Parkhead, where the locals make the Springburn populace look healthy.

Had to make do with the radio today, they were all unanimous about the need for the big ball carrier. Matt Fagerson does a lot of things well at 8, but making yards over the gain line isn't one of them. Another thing they picked up on at half time was that France were out early doing some physical drills with tackle pads etc obviously looking to be up for a quick start to the second half, and that was how it panned out.

Same for me, was a member of the Dennis and Gnasher fan club back in the day. Started work in 1987, and my tradesman had a wooden chest full of Commando comics, ideal for a 15 minute tea break. Schnell! Schnell! Gott im himmel! -

Very sorry to hear that, must be very tough. Sounds very similar to the story a workmate told me about his neighbour's mum. She also has dementia, and was admitted to GRI with eating problems. After being in for 10 days or so her family were told last Monday that she had Covid, and she passed away on Thursday.

To say my mate is a bit miffed is an understatement. He lives about 9 miles from the club, and he knows a lot of other guys who will be travelling a good bit further than that to play.

My workmate stays in Springburn, and is a member at Campsie GC in Lennoxtown. They sent out an email yesterday saying that only those members who live in East Dunbartonshire can play for the next 3 weeks. My own club is sticking with the 5 mile advice as anybody within 5 miles will be in a tier 4 council area. How's everybody else's club playing it?

Mark Chapman has stepped down permanently from hosting the NFL show on the BBC with immediate effect, Nate Coombs has been on the last few weeks. Pity, always enjoy the show whenever I watch it and the chemistry between him, Jason and Osi works well. I would presume that trying to juggle all his TV and radio work along with bringing up 3 kids on his own after his wife passed away earlier this year is taking it's toll. Dan Walker is taking over starting with this week's show.
